So, fellas, I have a question for you. Recently, I have bought SC2 from a second-hand store. Now, obviously I did not expect the enclosed CD-Key to work for me, so I was hoping that Blizzard would be nice enough to give me a working key, and may for +5 Renegade points, disable the account of the guy who used the key.

I am unable to use my Authenication Key because it is apparently has been claimed by someone else. I would assume it ridiculous to have to send the key itself, but I could provide photos of the disk, box, and even the CD-key.

So, for more information, please check enclosed instruction book. Eh, I mean the files.

I looked into this for you, and I can confirm that this CD key has been registered and in use for some time. I'd recommend taking it back to the vendor that sold it to you for a refund.

Well the key is all you buy. That's really it. I bought it digitally. Meaning all I bought is a little string of letters and numbers. You should have thought of that though.

Now its a problem on consoles with EA's online pass scam.

With SC2 Activision removed LAN play which means its impossible to get the control you could in Brood War because everything has a 150 ms delay minimum + regular latency on Bnet. You can also pseudo-ddos any player if they don't set their status to busy.

I only used one hotkey for Protoss upto Diamond, then I made the incredible jump to two hotkeys (1 for robo)

There's been a problem with second hand PC games for the past 10 years. I actually don't know a single PC gamer that buys online PC games used unless they know the person in question.

The CDkey registration makes it just too simple.
