Well it was a proxy hatch into a roach allin.. and he had enough roaches at the end of the allin to hold off any gateway pressure I could have done, and by the time I was able to get out collosis his third base was up and running and it just went out into a macro game..

You have to assume that the zerg is building drones if he doesn't continue his pressure, in which case a cheesy gateway build is probably best. He takes a massive gamble by trying to catch up by droning hard.

In bronze I used to make five barracks and push with marines - for the whole game, if I expanded I expanded to my opponents gold base on Xel Naga Caverns without him noticing for the whole game. Good times.

Just look up a build and go from there... I always hit a point where I sorta feel its time to stop massing marines and start teching...

in TvT medivacs and tank walls are very important lol

I quite enjoy Mech
Especially in bronze because even with 3/3 thors at 200/200 they'll try engage you with 60 or 70 roaches

Hellion marauder is good, but I feel it's a bit dated as in the current metagame some Zergs like to go 2 hatch muta into a big muta ling bling midgame.

Yeah, and I have learned to stop being so dumb with it, after I played against my masters Zerg friend he said "Why didn't you go and harass more, why did you pull back, you could have killed a lot more drones and won". Before I just picked at the third base, killed queens and didn't do much harassment for the other bases or towards drones, now that I have started to ramp up the aggression I am winning a lot more games. Funny how a stupid little thing like that can lead to such improvement.
