Well not much news in regards to modeling but I did manage to make a working day and night transition in UDK after some difficulty.
Oh and I'm gonna have to redo the buttons on eggman I goofed up the uv mapping somehow.
sorry for reposting this, but i want some feedback on the wisps aswell. those will be a crucial part to both the boss and the sonic colors pack. did they turn out fine to you guys, or do i need to work on the reflections? (there is a notable error on the side of laser's head, i fixed that since the video aired.)

Well, the wisps seemed fine to me. they didnt seem that off.
IN Unreal Development Kit I was working on a system that changes from night to day.
As for actual modeling Eggman's buttons need to be fixed because I somehow screwed up the UV mapping.

The Wisps looked fine but we ain't seen the other wisps like cube,hover,spikes,frenzy, but it looks completely Fine and even better AMAZING

but i can't achieve that affect.
same with transparencies, as you can see, in the video the cubes were dark and you couldn't really see through them. any help with that?

so, as you can tell i have the nega-wisp armor and wisp models pretty much completed.
that means the ragdolls will be released soon, just have to re-do a few things on the ragdoll qc.

it should, except for one thing: you would have to download an addon that makes an item_healthkit_small and item_ammobox_medium, otherwise you can't get yourself healed.
Lil, now that the Boss Fight is out, does this mean the Ragdolls for the wisps are on the way?

finally got it to work. unfortunately, the test wisp (CUBE!) has shown huge rigidness in the legs. i'll have to look into that.
Great job, I love your map. It's one of the most original maps I've seen for not only TF2, but Garry's Mod as well. I don't think I've seen a boss battle map before this ever came out.
so after working on the wisps for a while, i grew addicted to the starlight carnival boss music. so i figured i would make him in tf2, also
this is what happened when i opened up his raw files.
all of those are seperate pieces of the entire ship. if i want to port this guy, this will take a lot of work.
I was playing the Nega-Wisp level and it seemed to have been stuck in a repeating animation of stomping his hands on the ground. I couldn't kill him. I think you should get this fixed ASAP.
it happens if you either 1. skip the cubes somehow, or 2. die while on the cubes.
whenever you die you're supposed to restart the map, otherwise it bugs out. i can't fix it because of the way hammer works.
EDIT:
an alternative to restarting the map each time is, when the map first starts, type "mp_disable_respawn_times 1" in the console.
although it kinda ruins the purpose of restarting for the full boss fight experience
could i ask something, you know when modern section to generations models comes to GMOD if i wanted to make a super silver,when silvers quills are in there normal position, would it be possible to move his quills in GMOD or would i need to change the bones???
it depends on who the porter is and what they do with the model. likely you will be able to pose the quills, as it look like that in the game's animations that it has bones, but it can't be guaranteed to the porter.
