It would be more interesting to know what differences there are when you pick those other traits, on "how you handle things", and heritage, and such.
i am so doing this next beta
does wvw let one server have more than 1/3 the player cap? i didnt manage to get into wvw but my server was losing horribly but there were tons of people queued up for it :/
I guess they wanted to switch it in the middle of the beta so people could see how it transitions.
The reason we had trouble getting people on the same server is because Anvil Rock became full, and some FPers couldnt join. I announced in the steam chat, in this thread, in the guild, and as an announcement through the steam group, that US players can switch to Moledune.
Not everybody did. I am guessing that players were too busy playing to check the thread.
Next time we choose a server, it is not going to be one with a major community on it, because those got full extremely quickly.
I was browsing the GW2 forums and found this video:
(I would it but that doesn't work with time URL's)
The pictures show exactly what I want to experience in my game. To explore the world with my friends. Get together in a large group and just venture fourth into the unknown. Eventually doing stupid stuff that we can tell stories about years to come.
Who's with me?
What are the weaknesses of each class?
Opened up the GW2 client and it's downloading again.
exit and reopen it, i get that somtimes
the engineer in my opinion needs some boosting i never really saw one do much, is good for mass slowing people and annoying effects though. this is in structured pvp, dunno how good they are in pve
Engineers have a lot of control and stuff but nothing that really stands out damage wise, playing one myself i just loved WvW using the Grenade Mine and Bomb kits while defending, and the flame thrower while not much damage wise using the blowback is really fun, it's like being a pyro in TF2 all over again except for..........y'know no M1+W
How do thieves play? My friend that played it this weekend is gushing too much to give me a straight answer :(
amazing fun with daggers great escape utilities not many things for buffing allies really the slows duration is pretty slow unless you use pistol or sword , i thought bow was pretty weak in my opinion only used it for the teleport in skill 5 if you go back to the page before i got a pvp vid of thief i did so you can see that i used dagger dagger mostly
it was also a completely different paced calss compared to every other one in gw2 though because of initiative, was a lot of fun switching from offensive to defensive
what i used pretty much http://www.gw2tools.com/skills#t;ffp...baa;bbcY;ZVSZb
will be able to do a lot better next beta weekend now i know how to properly use backstab a lot of my clips i used the stealth crit bonus for high deathblossom.
Nice MM. Although it's nothing new.
Haha yeah I was able to jump in as well. Then I realized I might be stuck so I was jumping frantically to get out!
I had a change of heart.
I was playing the beta wrong, I just kept leveling my guy and pretty much only played theif.
Then I did some World vs World vs World.
Gonna play the shit out of this, probably main a warrior or guardian.
Wow, this game wasn't even on my radar until I read the OP.
No point-and-click combat?
It's almost as if it's my dream MMO.
Gonna buy it as soon as I have money.
Already experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Fuck.
