Gold and Silver are ridiculously easy if you Start with Cyndaquil and all you ever use is him. You know, up until you get to Red, then you're fucked.

Do any of the other games have just one Starter Pokemon that you can kick its ass with?

Strange, I don't know what'd be wrong then. Worked for me.

Maybe they/you have to have the game beaten first. I don't really know.
If you've met that criteria then I'm stumped.
I've done it before beating the game. I have white, my brother has black. I crossed into his world, tapped on the black city mark and went there. Then recruited people for my white forest.

Psh. I'd barely think that unless maybe there were 1000 new posts. I thought they said they were done with Pokemon games (Excluding the ranger games) after Black/White.

They said they would stop when they hit 1000 Pokemon.

There's still a long way to go.

Well, it had it's perks but my favourite was 3rd gen. I feel it's underrated.
I mean it's an opinion, sure, but Aggron, Metagross, Skarmory, Blaziken, Regi trio, Lati@s, weather trio...pretty much all of them were fucking awesome to me.

I like how I loved the evolved version of that dog. Then when I beat the game I abandoned it.

One thing that always bugged me

We've had a Fire-Fighting starter for the past 3 generations.
It was cool with Blaziken, it was alright with Infernape, but Emboar overdid it.

It looked like he was saying that the 3rd Gen introduced Skarmory, because he listed it among a group of 3rd Gen Pokemon.

He was. He was quoting a post about the first 151 Pokemon, then started talking about Generation 3's.

    Oh right, my bad.
    Lunatone and Solrock then.
Medicham, the infamous Gardevoir    and it's 46 000 Mary Sue fanfics   , Seviper, Mightyena, Sharpedo, Mightyena...There's still options.

Actually, I remember soloing the entire game with a Mightyena. If only the 4th gen move split had been present in 3rd gen. Mightyena would've p. much raped everything.

Reposting because I didn't get an answer

    Quick question!

Say I need someone to show up in Black City to migrate to White Forest via Entralink to get said trainer's Pokemon to show up in White Forest to catch.

If I can't find that trainer in Black City while in Entralink, am I screwed till I restart the game or is there a way I can get the trainer to show up?

tru dat i'd be hard pressed to find a trainer with a flygon, who doesn't have a rock/steel/fighting/fire type somewhere in the waiting or an at least that type attack with a neutral pokemon.

Flygy is a pretty amazing scout. Really good at taunting out what would normally revenge it while U-turning out. Also a pretty flash revenge killer and occasional sweeper in a pinch.
