Also, this is for the DS because the 3DS is very different from the DS; they can't do a copypasta job with minimal effort for that, this isn't the GBC being a pimped up Game Boy. Also larger playerbase, and can make a fresh start for the 3DS.

I personally think it is an alright move.
The only things that I am generally sad about is the fact that it is still on the ds, they could have went with something bigger & better but instead they go with the sure bet.

I'm not really that excited about these two new games. They're probably not going to be that different from the originals and they're being made on an eight year old system. Doesn't seem that great to me.

I think it's pretty stupid, in all 15 years they've never made a traditional Pokemon game that was literally called Pokémon (X) 2.

As much as I'm selfishly glad I wouldn't have to fork out the cash for a 3DS were I to buy this new game, I still think it should be developed for the 3DS.

It would take as much effort as making a brand new Pokemon game for the 3DS, they cannot copypaste it, and this is a (pair of) third version; minimal effort and maximum profit here. Seeing how they apparently are dealing with the Black City/White Forest stuff, well, yeah.
We need a Mewtwo version with no pair for the 3DS, and that's all.

Oh well, on the bright side I guess I can flashcard it early instead of waiting half a year for an international release.

im more inclined to get this one seeing as i have no DS or pokemon game since both disappeared almost a year ago. And i'll be on par with everyone else.
Question is do i really want to invest in a 3DS...
