Decided to make a fun little doubles team for battle tower to get back into the Pokemon mood for B/W2. Had a Japanese Ditto with the nature I wanted for my Vaporeon so I figured I might as well do the Masuda method. 20 hatched Eevees later I'm wondering why the fuck I don't have a Bold Eevee yet, so I look up breeding to make sure I'm not remembering incorrectly about nature passing with everstone.

Another minor change that is present in all Generation IV games, is that the passing on of natures via an Everstone will not work if the Pokémon are from different real-world countries

Almost put my DS through my wall.

I'm doing the same, don't worry.
Black 2 is a different game with the same pokemons so if you're only interested in collecting all the pokemons then you're missing nothing.

Just read a wiki article on the first game's story. It's not exactly an award winning Pulitzer in terms of literary prowess.

I didn't even know people played Pokemon for the story. I mean the stories have been getting better over the years, but still.

Also, its not same Pokemon in B/W2, you can encounter Other region Pokemon before beating the game unlike B/W2

I dunno, it seems it's always "Team X wants to get Cosmic Entity Y to Control/Destroy Z".
Thankfully they mixed it up with Black and White with all the "LIBERATION!!!" stuff, but it'd be neat to see "Criminal Organization just wants to make money" again.

A Lapras, or a Walrein in hail?

Lapras has 20 more HP and 5 more Sp. Defense, but Walrein has 10 more defense and access to recovery in hail. It is also notable that Lapras has BoltBeam, but Walrein has better Sp. Attack, is slightly faster, and can break walls with Super Fang.

As with all "third games," it's the "Director's Cut" of the first two games, so if you had to pick between Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, definitely go for platinum.

...And yes, it is worth getting.
