So I just started playing EVE and I have been doing tutorial agent missions. I was doing the business mission line and was on the last mission, I never accepted the mission and decided to log off. I came back a day later and now the agent won't talk to me. Is there any way I can get that mission line or the just the last mission or am I screwed?

I like the coloring of the Amarr ships in this picture. The Prophecy looks like it's slightly elongated in a good way.

God damn heavy missiles 5 takes so long to train :smith:

This is why it takes me forever to get into a decent ship with T2 mods, i never have the patience to train anything that takes more than a few days

Don't. Especially for books. Those are NPC seeded, therefore, the price remains constant. There's a sleepy little system 3J from Jita that carries 99% of them at seed price. The low/null skillbooks are almost always traps aimed at catching newbies in gatecamps, hence their lower price. Rigs aren't NPC seeded so their price can fluctuate, but honestly, I wouldn't buy those in low or null either given a choice. Large chance of getting ganked by someone looking to steal them.

There's a reason pirates banished to low and null have Jita alts. Trade in low and null just doesn't happen, far too likely to get blown to shit over your brand new shinies for anyone to do it.

    Edited:

But of course. I like weapons that have range, don't have travel time, hit like a train, and don't require any cap to fire. Blasters have zero range, railguns don't hit for beans, missiles take forever to get there, and lasers take some serious cap. Autocannons and artillery? Perfection.

Well, that, and I like the shape of the Maelstrom and Hurricane, which are the two ships I spend my time in these days.

Oh, ok. I thought you meant buying them in low.

Honestly I couldn't give you a good recommendation besides "Go cheap". I don't live in lowsec. I have a wormhole to play in that always leads to high, and a main HQ in high, my low operations limited to PVP hunts with the rest of my fleet.

You might look into warp core stabs, that may be enough to get you out of a bubbler.

My Corporation Alliance lives out in low and null. Its not too populated, usually no one except blues in the system so it is safe. Also by Bubbler, do you mean the big bubbles that stops you from warping? Does the Warp Core stab really work against that? That would be amazing.

    Edited:

Well. I am going to try to use my Impairor to get out of low. Its rather empty at this hour.
Worst thing that could happen is that my pod gets destroyed and that means im in High and able to Jump Clone to low again with a small loss.

    Edited:

I noticed there are loads of blues in every system and its rather safe travelling in and out.

Heh, my corp isn't big enough for that. That's why we're playing around in a Wormhole instead.

    Precisely.

Warp core stabs work against anything that tries to prevent you from warping. My understanding of things is that you have a warp power, and if it goes below zero you cannot warp. Above zero you can. Things like bubblers and tackle modules bring it down, warp core stabs bring it up.

Yeah, I got out of low and back with about 20m in my cargo safe. I went back out again since we got a War dec earlier and I needed to buy some stuff to get Jump Freighted before the war starts. I Warped into a Bubble and a Thrasher got me.

    Thank god for no implants

It's almost impossible to lose a cov ops using the f1f2 trick and bounces.

Most of the time you just can't be caught (plus if they use cans as de-cloaking objects, that is officially petition-able. Always play the meta game)

Great if all you need to do is nip out and grab some skillbooks/boosters/ small shit.

Can't you lock onto a gate and set some drones to orbit it? I imagine that would decloak ships, assuming you can set drines to orbit at about 10 km from the gate.

Or maybe I'm flat out wrong vv

Essentially the only way to decloak a covops is to assign all the groups drones to a single interceptor, then in the split second the covops is visible you align, then double click in space in that direction to try and get the decloak. (Note you have to double click, as the initial align gives you the direction but you will default to 0 speed as the target cloaks)

It's kinda complicated to explain without trying it though, but if the target is a fool (95% are) they will just cloak and this will get them.

But yeh you're right, if you assign drones to a ship and get them to orbit in a bubble (or a gate) It would work.

This no longer works, Drones no longer decloak targets.

So when you decloak a covops you set your drones to orbit a friendly ship and rush the covops to force the cloak to stay down andhen smash em?

    Cool beans!

Also just realised themissile support skills I'm training like rapid launch and warhead upgrades will transfer over to my stealth bomber, fuck yeah.

that's only petitionable if there are enough objects on the gate to cause noticeable lag.
using cans to decloak, without deploying so many it causes lag, is a perfectly legitimate and allowed tactic.

Aye, but with petitions it's always a massive fuck up in terms of consistency.

Like I've been warned about a single can, aligning from a gate in a drag bubble.

Like fully bubbling a pos is "technically" petitionable, but 9 times out of 10 they let it slide.

I'd like to find about about any changes to drones not de-cloaking though, any changelogs with that in?

GMs are really, really bad, completely inconsistent

if you escalate the petition to a senior GM, they will basically tell you it's perfectly fine as long as it doesn't cause unreasonable server load (as per the EULA).

Like fully bubbling a pos is "technically" petitionable, but 9 times out of 10 they let it slide.
6 seems to be the ~magic number~ of bubbles GMs leave up after nuking bubble-fields, which is enough to rape-cage a tower (2 per axis).
