The Moon-Planet becomes nothing but a ball of debris. It is totally destroyed. The Drones are taken out, And the TERA fleet wastes no time pursuing the escaping ones.
(Extended the map a bit.)
The terraformer has gotten to work. The Planet will be formed in 8 more turns.
The Research ship goes to send the initial sample, so it can be analyzed for a specific amount of occurrence per meter in the ore.
The Mining Contractor's Ships begin mining immediately, they have already harvested some Lapsium.

I tried to make it as small as possible while still maintaining the ship's style.
The TPN starts firing at the drones aswell.

Someone's darkened the map, I suggest checking that your browser doesn't have colour correction activated (which is may, by default)
If you're affected then I suggest re pasting your planet/ships back in so they return to their former colours.

Someone has done it twice.
In the begining of the last page stars were clearly visible, and at the end of the page they were barely visible, and now i can't see them at all.

The planet is created, and the Terraformer stops. The Planet is named in sequence Agathar XII.
TERA Becomes confused, as the entire base collapses into the "Core" of the moon which seems to be imploding. At the same time they are infuriated. only such work of an intelligent being would cause this. Who is it?

As the drones are destroyed, the TPN sends the following message to TERA:
Thank you, allies, for your assistance in destroying the enemy threat. We shall not forget this.
The TPN ships move in position to search the debris for parts of the drones to figure out how this happened.

Going back to an oldie:
In the dark realms that we know as space many creatures, items and concepts take their grasp around the worlds before. Some wish only to hold on to that which is most dear. Others place there will over those they oppose, seeking to claim what may or may not rightfully be theirs. Planets live, in peace and harmony, prospering as they wish. As more is seen some are locked in combat, with their enemies or even their own home. And finally there are those that lay to waste, left and abandoned in perfect condition.
But within this forsaken place, a deus machina will take its steed...

I might declare if you guys think my new downsized ships are good enough to be used.
I even have some story for changing my ships!
Even though test MD-6849 failed, the technology that the drones had evolved into was very powerful. Alas, we could not let them attack our allies, so we still could not observe the full extent of their power, but this indeed calls for a major re-thinking of our technology. The new ships will be smaller, faster, and more powerful. Combined with the new technology received from one of our allies, we shall truly have magnificent ships. I do wonder though, how was the hive mind so easily defeated? We shall have to search the wreckage once more.
Btw, no-one in-game knows that the drones were mine or an actual test.

Yes, the maps do expand, but not very much. We try and keep the size so there won't be a lot of scrolling about and such. Thank you for downsizing your ship.Hey milkdairy, does the map ever expand in these threads?
I un-declare, instead, i want you guys' opinion on the new ship.

And Knight, this has nothing to do with "playing oldschool". I'm trying to keep this from falling into the inevitable clutter that killed the other threads. It may seem like we aren't getting many new members right now, but you could have said the same about the last thread in it's beginning stages. Soon enough, this page will be too cluttered and things will need to be downsized. Hell, even Realo is going over the planet size limit in the OP.
I'm not doing this for nostalgia and I'm not trying to piss you off, I'm trying to follow the rules and make it so the thread doesn't go to shit on it's early pages.
Also, Greg, what are you using to host your images? You just darkened one severely up there.

Also, the new ships are fine. I'll accept that my capital ship is small but the other ships should be no bigger then Milk's. Your ships are perfect in size, then.

Have you been using firefox or, god forbid, internet explorer? I've heard that they mess with the colours of an image occasionally.

The planet Trantimir is warped in using advanced slipspace drives, the two battleship and one carrier will warp in in three turns.

I just noticed that alot of things look worse than before now, you gonna fix that face?\
edit: Nevermind, postin' 2 versions of the map, one where its not lighter and one where it is.

And I'm going to dim it down a tad as well, over curved it.

The ships have returned home, and have used the new tech to re-create the ships.

Also, the capital ship is finished and construction begins on a medium and two small ships that will take 3 turns.

The TPN, taking another shot at drones, creates an extremely fast drone for the purpose of exploration, trade, communication and preparing planets for colonization.
The drone has a very basic AI, which needs confirmation for every action. In emergency's the AI will be terminated and the drone will be under manual control.
The drone is headed to the planet of Arterra, hoping to learn more about the Arterrians, improve relations, and perhaps even make an alliance or establish trade routes.

WE KNOW YOU ELXARI SCUM ARE OUT THERE, ANYONE EVEN NEARING OUR PLANET WILL BE OBLITERATED!

Also, Greg, your first post on page four ultimately removed the stars.
On my post before that it was still visible.
Do you use Photoshop? It might be the problem, since All of my posts where I applied photoshop were darkened.

Oh, and that post you quoted had stars (Or at least it did for me when I zoomed in >.<)

Face, you warped in a very very very bad place.
Going back to maybe the first 1 or two pages, you'll notice TERA Was a large, Long enemy of the ICSU, which supported Trantimir as a CUE planet.

I don't use Photoshop, i use paint.net.
Mhh, just a thought, maybe i accidentally used the bucket tool with the color black, and the tolerance was at an amount that it removed the stars? I don't know...

Alright. Fixed my ships. And Things have happened over the turns.
The Terraformer finishes the planet, and heads home to Agathar XI.
It is again, named Agathar XIII (13) In sequence. One Small class ship is created there.
The Fleet over at Agathar XII Is finished, and sends out its two Medium Class ships, accompanied by two Small class ships to deal with The Trantimirians
Attention Unknown planet; You have warped into our Designated territory in this Galaxy. What is your purpose, and why have you warped to this Galaxy?
The Agathar XI Fleet warps over the turns to Armagon, and forces a surrender. (Got permission from the guy who made the planet.)
The Mining contractor's ships finish extracting all the Lapsium, and they begin to head back to Agathar XI.
MEANWHILE: Agathar XI's science teams notice, after several Galaxy sweeps an Arterran landmass. They would know this Race is against the CUE, and attempt to contact the planet and its fleet.
Attention Arterran planet, We wish to set up trade and alliance ordeals due to your current standing with the CUE as they are a great enemy of ours as well. What is your response?

As everyone in the TPN is in disarray because of the oncoming threat, half of the fleet decides to assault Kreye.
HALT! PEOPLE OF KREYE, YOU ARE SUSPECTED OF CO-OPERATING WITH THE ELXARI, AND SHALL BE UNDER TPN CONTROL UNTIL THE THREAT IS NEUTRALIZED. ANY ATTEMPT TO ATTACK US SHALL RESULT IN THE DEATH OF YOUR SHIPS AND PEOPLE.
Meanwhile, the TPN sends a message to their allies:
Allies, we are under grave danger, our greatest enemy, the Elxari, has found us. Please do not make any attempts to contact us for the time being and do not enter the area around Daelora.

RWC have taken Kerberos under control and start building a medium ship right away. The fleet also advances towards TERA's territory to search for new unknown planets. RWC send a massage:

In reply to the ships: We had to random jump here as our previous solar system is in turmoil, this is hopefully only a temporary jump as we are trying to adjust our advanced slipspace drives.
We mean no harm, we are simply evading a major threat in our home solar system.
