    The model he uses is too large for you to walk up i think.
    You have to jump.

    Because they're stairs. You fall down them, essentially, but they're too big to go back up regularly.

    he has a youtube channel and on his video showing it (pretty sure its in this thread) he says in the description that it was just frigging around but now that people have shown interest in it hes adding stuff to it. he's also taking suggestions

    Yeah, I saw that actually.

    I just hope it comes out to have a lot more content instead of just a ton of teeny tiny tweaks for little stuff like shadows or somethin.

    I suppose this should be turned into a discussion on how to improve the game?

    What I believe I've heard so far is:

    -Add the crying sound from the game.

    -Improve the relations of the face and the main character. This seems kind of vague, but I don't have any input here. I thought that whenever you encounter the fact, the camera should zoom in on him, but that may be a bit over-the-top.

    -Shorten the game. The only expedition that goes farther than 100 flights is implied to have been because the face had been following the subject the way down. Perhaps making it where the face doesn't spawn farther than 100 flights may be better.

    -Consider allowing the face to appear behind the player at a point. Depending on whether this would work with game mechanics and whether or not you want the game to be that scary, you may want to vote against this.

    This SCP seems so narrow that I don't see many other ways it could be improved on, however.

    No, but the height of a single step is too much to walk up. You can't walk up the stairs, but you can jump, so really you're not stuck at all.

    I'm tempted to piece together a level built on Unreal with the face spawning behind randomly, so sometimes it's a normal game and sometimes it will spawn behind you but you don't know when!

    I thought about all this while walking home in the dark, I was shitting it.

    (And, to answer your question, I don't even know what UDK is.)
