Did you know that there could be a cable tunnel running for miles underneath your street? You probably didn't. Here's one in London which I wasn't supposed to be in.

It's really cool to stand underneath [what you think is] a drain cover and watch the cars travel over your head. Makes a bizarre noise.

So how do you do that? Just open a manhole and climb down? Do you have a closed route or just plan where to come above ground again? How do you make sure not to get lost?

This one is accessed at ground level through a gate, then interestingly you climb up some stairs to get into the tunnel.

On the way back you just follow the tunnel and you end up where you came from.

Another tunnel I did later in the day you do have to go through a manhole.

Thats awesome. Would you be able to tell me how you managed to compose these pictures? I'm a new photographer and just bought a new Canon T2i as well actually! I would love to know how you managed to get a shots like these (ether the camera settings or if you did any post production). All of mine are sort of plain and never manage to cross the professional threshold no matter what I take a picture of.
