    I wan't to change my theme for y ubuntu 11.10, but how exactly do you do it? And is it GNOME or GNOME shell?
    I do not have any experience in this, but do i need to use the GNOME tweak tool?

    Also can you list me some top 10 themes or something?

    they arent themes, Gnome is a seperate desktop environment as is Unity, Ubuntu's default homemade DE.
    Some popular options are KDE, GNOME, CINNAMON, UNITY, XFCE, LXDE.

    Oh, well whats some great desktop enviroments?
    By the way, i got GNOME 3 to work with terminal, i would love terminal commands for other enviroments too!

    I enjoy Cinnamon, its personal preference Unity is nice too
