Updates have dropped later than this. Namely the Uber Update, Replay Update and second Australian Christmas Update. But it's unlikely that Valve would release anything on that scale without anything indicating that the update was coming, so stop waiting. Maybe next week.

but there aren't many random patches that ship this late, and there aren't many major updates that ship this late without a HLDS email. The Uber update had a HLDS email hours before

Actually the 3rd Dr Grodbort update seems rather likely to happen instead of one of these weekly updates, I don't expect the space packs to be part of the Meet The Pyro update.

So yeah, I don't think it's going to be this week, but we'll see.
