The flamethrower is the stock, we can infer this from:
-all the meet the team videos up to meet the medic have had nothing but stock used
-the flamethrower's silhouette is being discussed so much, valve wouldn't release a weapon without a really obvious and distinct silhouette.
-the pyro's stock flamethrower is in the damn hype-up image they posted on their blog, they're lazy enough to leave weapons broken for more than a year so they're lazy enough not to photoshop the stock flamethrower over the image.

Oh thanks, though the images were loading, I meant I really can't distinguish anything, except for the one with the pyro shooting flames up.
Thanks for taking the time to make these gif, gah I can't wait for the next big update AND I'll probably miss the time/night it releases

Didn't valve deleyed update because of major event in other games? I think that the portal 2 DLC can be considered as a major event.
So either we'll have to wait at least 2 weeks, or we'll get an update next week, which seems likely as last year's saxxy took place on may 5th.
My guess is that meet the pyro will be released next week along with source filmaker, to introduce the 2nd annual saxxy. Maybe even extend it to all source games, not only TF2?
Also, meet the pyro won't be about the pre-tf2 flamethrower. Meet the medic was about the ubercharge, not the medigun, and the flamethrower isn't the most important part of the pyro. I'd say his gasmask, or the reason why he always wear one is more important than his primary. Hell, it could even be a post TF2 video, with the end of the fight between red and blu, in a devasted worl. Valve always surprise us.

Thought it was in the late afternoon, since I saw them test it in the mid-afternoon, and a little after I left, they released it.

looks like closer to 5est, rather than the 2 or 3 I thought.

They could make the Nanobalaclava and Private Eye all-class so that I'd be about 3 times richer than I am now

being able to charge airblast is an already coded attribute I think could work nicely (with some tweaking so you don't send enemies to the Skybox like it is right now)
but then how will I get random traders as steam friends asking me about it!

if I were to wager a guess I'd say the meant to ship it yesterday but had to tighten up some stuff and just delayed it till first-thing today.

That update also added crate #43, which in turn added 2 new strange parts.
They are "Allies Extinguished" and "Post Houmous Kills"
Both of them have fire in them, PYRO.
