If you ever do want to do well with arty you should inmediately unlock hull and rape enemy arty if your team spots one.

The 13th February, during the server restart scheduled for 06:00-06:30 CET (5:00-5:30am GMT), premium tanks: PzKpfw 38H735(f) and PzKpfw B2 740(f) will be removed from the World of Tanks in-game store.

Those, who have purchased the specified vehicles prior to the stated time, will still have them in garage.

The reason for the removal is the introduction of the French Tech Tree. Originally, PzKpfw 38H735 (F) and PzKpfw B2 740(F) were French and they were placed on the German Tech Tree as captured materiel.

Thus, if you want to buy PzKpfw 38H735 (F) or PzKpfw B2 740(F), you still have time to do it prior to 06:00 CET (5:00am GMT), 13 February. Further, it will be possible to acquire the above mentioned vehicles within special actions, which will be announced in advanc

I usually fire all my rounds before retreating, cripple the enemy you are retreating from enough to make him not want to follow you, and even then you aren't supposed to engage a lot of targets without support, rather stay back and snipe targets your allies are engaging this way you never have to "get the fuck back behind your lines" works just fine for me, mate.

Except you have to get used to the fact that 95% of players won't stay alive, let alone keep the enemy arty spotted long enough that you can turn, full-aim and fire with any kind of accuracy.

well the premium B1 kinda sucks and doesn't even have the option to use the dual gun system (when ever the fuck they get around to finishing that.) and the H38, lets face it, is dastardly overpowered for it's tier, at least the H35 has the driver's hatch weakspot which makes it sorta Balanced.

and also their sale numbers have probably dropped with the introduction of the french tree and has pretty much made them obsolete in players and WG's eyes so best squeeze as much money out of them as you can.

not quite, seeing that they were used extensively to fill gaps while T-34 production was kickstarted, they would have a place to fill out Russian ranks in early and mid war Historical battles with not totally useless tanks.

considering that in early war T-34s, KV-1, KV-2 we're good but rare up until Kursk so if WG has any sense they will make them REALLY fucking expensive to field, most of the Russian teams will most likely be T-28,T-26, and BTs and lend lease stuff, with one or two KVs or T-34s.


Hell in the early days of Barbarossa when the Germans encountered a KV-1 or KV-2 they had to Flak 88 or arty it to death because none of their tanks could kill them.

in most cases they're usually to busy trying to kill that stock tiger instead of the obj. 261 or T92.

By the way, I suddenly have the option of purchasing an IS instead of a T-43 after my KV-13, and with the new limited offer, I really feel compelled to do so.
Before I buy it, I just want to know is it a good tank, and does it get fucked over by matchmaking?

I've never used a T-43, but I found the IS to be good tank. With regards to matchmaking, I haven't used the IS in a long time, so I can't help you there. The entire IS line (aside from the IS-4) play like heavy medium hybrids with high burst damage guns, so if you were aiming at a medium line the IS's aren't much of a stretch.

Besides, if you can get an IS-4 before 7.2 (or whenever) you'll get a free tier 10 tank.

IS-1/2 is a fantastic tank, at least it was for me. The 122 it has has a long reload, but with 100% crew, vents, and a rammer it isn't too long. It's pretty quick and slopey, and it can go head to head with a T29 and do well (granted I was doing that before they made it so the T29's ears don't take damage). the D10T isn't bad either, and its a pretty quick tank too.
