    Nerds dream!

I can't talk, I listen to Lights and she plays Wow and has a bunch of anime memorabilia. I do enjoy her music though.

I didn't even like Video Games... Just sounded like generic mainstream music to me, nothing different.
Video games did nothing for me. I guess it was generic but I wouldn't even say that...it was just like..."Look at me, I can sing kinda." Some of her lyrics are clever but it's just so unmemorable. I felt the music and lyrics just flow right over me, nothing stuck.

Finally decided to check out all that Lana Del Rey business.

Feels bland man, bland and almost as if she's singing it in a pretentious manner. Nty.

I like the strings and instrumentation on that song but yea her voice is really bland and almost grating, and the lyrics are pretty bad too. The instrumentation just does it for me for some reason.

Uh, Death Grips maybe? That's the only thing I can suggest really. Maybe some Danzig or Henry Rollins Band if you like Misfits a lot. MDC is cool but that's a bit more extreme.

What are you doing man? I've never heard of her, I don't pursue music like that because I don't like that kind of music. You said it was bad, I was agreeing it's bad. How was I saying your taste in music is bad? You were smugly claiming to know it was bad before everyone else, apparently, so I zinged you more than insulted you.

What I was saying was that we don't actively pursue bad music (bad music being Lana Del Rey), so that's why we haven't heard of her until lately.

Way to kill the joke man.

It may be over produced, but I don't think anyone has managed to merge hip hop with "chamber/baroque pop".

Never heard them called that. Icepop or popsicle, without the erroneous double entendre, works for me.

Then again, it's not cool to judge a language even if it's really silly sounding.
