Ask yourself the question, is it really worth it?
She sounds like a fickle bugger to me, and if she just goes into moods where she just doesn't have the time for anyone then I wouldn't have the time for her.
Fuck yeah page king of wisdom.

Yeah I'm wondering about that, but for now I'll just wait and try not to think about it.
I have nailed the reason music thee days is so awful to me.
Their lyrics are awful. Or too simple.
They tell something in an obvious way, like most of the Silly Love Songs do.

Take for example Starman By David Bowie.
One has to listen the lyrics more carefully to see what's going on. From what I can tell, it's about how younger people and older people perceive things differently, like how they see the Starman in the song.
So you have an encyclopedic knowledge of all modern and late 20th century lyrics?
Sounds cool man.
You should listen to some different music then.
A lot of music nowadays has really deep lyrics.
Yeah what Hakita said, you just need to expand the search.
If you want an example of bad lyrics listen to Five Finger Death Punch, and if you want good lyrics, to The Ocean Collective's albums Heliocentric and Anthropocentric.
I'd gladly have a listen at whatever you'd recommend from past the 2005.
I do like this song called June by Genry Gene.

You're only saying this because you're too depressed about the times to make an effort to listen to a good bulk of the singer/songwriter nowadays that is inspired.
Give it a year and you'll regret saying what you have.
Edited:
Try albums.
Why specifically after 2005? and if you're actually judging a song purely on the complexity of the lyrics then you musically you have bigger problems than not liking modern lyrics.
Man, this song. So chill, so awesome.
Lyrics don't always have to tell stories either.
Music doesn't "have" to do anything for you, it's you who has to adapt.

Someone linked this on twitter.
That's where tastes come in. One likes their lyrics in some way, some don't, some don't like them at all.
I'm not against simple lyrics nor do I judge songfs by them, it's just that the subjects revolve around too similar things whenever I crack up the radio.
There's the fucking problem, never ever use a radio for music, ever, not a single station is worth listening to except Rock.fm
radio is meh, compared to finding what you want and discovering stuff. It's more pleasing to know you discovered something in your own way than have some DJ play a tune for the masses.
Jazz fm is pretty cool.
Even then dude, most of the shit they play on radio stations is the watered down shit from genres, like they play Nickelback, Skrillex and Nero and the like when for Rock and the like they could play stuff like Buckcherry and Rush, for dubstep they could play stuff like Koan Sound and Ry Legit, but they just play the watered down pish from the genres for the masses and it's self prepetuating.

Hudmo is the shit.
So I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, IMO most overrated ~avant-garde~ stretched out movie I've ever seen.
the name got changed to smooth fm here. :-)
Edited:
Fair enough, at least you accept it's too deep and indulgent for you. Maybe read about other people's experiences before seeing it.
To sum up that statement, ~2deep4u~
Yeah but you chose to watch it without knowing it's not you're average space movie.
I choose movies to watch if I'm intrigued, I very rarely am really disappointed.
Although when I watched it the second time while listening to "Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space" that was pretty good
That's horseshit, just because someone doesn't like something doesn't make it too deep for them, it is entirely possible he fully understood it and still didn't like it.
my knowledge of Space Odyysey was that it was a very avant garde movie with little dialogue and good music
There's not much to understand, so that's not the point.
Some people don't like indulgent things, there's nothing wrong with that.
But why choose to see it if you know it'll be that way?
Edited:
Maybe should have watched Clockwork Orange before that then.
Seen it, read the book as well.
Nice weather in Manchester? What's wrong with the world.

So you've probably seen this video guys, but this was the first time I watched it
It just makes me feel... bad and disgusted
Yeah no. Kubrick films are unique and if you don't like one, it's not because it's too deep.
Do you want to make an actual opinion?
dude you unironically listen to steel panther. does your opinion on films really matter?
That definitely looked like an opinion to me.
That is an opinion..
Edited:
not everything has hidden meanings or multiple meanings.
empty opinion then.
How.. can an opinion be empty?
That's actually fucking golden, so suddenly because he has a different opinion it's not valid?
That is a 100% valid opinion, whether you agree or disagree.
"Kubrick films are unique. But if you don't like them, then it's okay"
that's a really useful opinion.
I don't watch movies
I feel bad :(
