They hire younger people first. My brother is 19 and he can't find work because he didn't look for any part time work when he was in school so every place is hiring people that are his age, but had some kind of work before.

The best way to get a job just now is to get in through someone who you know that works there, that's the only reason I got my job, my brother used to work here and he got me an interview since he knew the guy doing the interviews.

One of my current jobs is just helping out a friend at work because one of his colleagues had an accident, and I told him I'd only be there until he found someone better but he claimed I was good enough at it.

I have two jobs though who wants my old one, I'm working in tech support for an ISP and I'm tired of talking to idiots who don't know how to reset a router

yeah, I can't speak for anywhere else but Hull has a high general unemployment rate across all ages, particularly in the 18-25 bracket. A lot of jobs that'd go to young people with few skills in good times are going to older people who've recently lost jobs and stuff.

weird.. I saw this last night too.

Only was intrigued by how the 3D was done, which actually is nothing like I expected, the background is pushed back and everything that walks past or in front is pushed forward. Distracting as shit but okayish.
I got a free ticket though so it's all good.
