From what I can tell it says its had changes that reduces wear on the gun, and something else about shooting. I'd assume it's a unique gun

Okay, so, I was in freedom's base about to loot that stash with the merc exo, when suddenly I see a bloodsucker appear outta goddamn nowhere and take down one of the snipers in the towers. It then books down to where chef is chilling, murdering 2 freedom guys along the way, then takes out chef himself. I get my ass in gear after that, and run into that building (where chef was just raped) and knife the son of a bitch.

Rip Chef, he was a good stalker and one hell of a drinking buddy.

So, I got my first companion after asking hundreds of stalkers around the Zone. He's a Bandit. As soon as I recruited him at the Factory in the Dark Valley, a swarm of Tushkanos came and overpowered him. The rest of the Bandits shot at them, but a good amount of bullets hit my buddy and killed him not even a minute after recruiting him. It just seems the Zone wants me to not have friends and be lonely.

I single handedly defeated the Monolith attack on the barricade. I don't think the freedomers got a single shot off. I didn't get hit either, thanks to the sniper rifle I liberated from a merc in Rostok, good stuff.

I still get creeped out by the bloodsucker lair, but last time I did it in SGM I just loaded my PKM with dumdum rounds and fucked them up royally.
Then 15 minutes later I barely survived being attacked by the entire alpha squad population of Zaton, (they were following me for a while but I was too much of a coward to fight them, so they ambushed me outside the tunnel leading to the swamp).

I had a companion with me when I got to the blood sucker lair in SGM.

He would fire at the bloodsuckers whilst running through, exiting and teleporting back to me. He kept killing them, not triggering them waking up and the mission failing, until he had killed all of them.

That completed the gas-task too, it was amazing.
