    The military quest to cleanse the rookie camp in Doom's merge seems to be bugged. The first objective won't be marked as completed, even if I kill every loner in the camp. Is there a fix for this?

    So, after reinstalling CoP, installing Misery on the clean install and then re-editing fsgame.ltx, I still get a stack trace when it finishes loading the zone.

    I really hate how other Stalkers will try to loot my kills. Especially after I killed a bandit or merc that tried to kill them. Come on, they're my kills, I deserve their gear. Is there any way to prevent this, other than killing those smug, thieving jackasses or quickly snatching up the loot myself?

    It is annoying in TFW when you kill a couple dudes from your enemy faction, then a bunch of stalkers rush in like vultures to steal everything. You should be able to tell them off and if they attack you shouldn't get in trouble. I once took an item from a corpse and a stalker chased me all the way to the other side of Garbage before I managed to escape to a level changer.

    Make sure you don't have a gun raised or anything like that. They shouldn't be shooting you on sight.

    If you snuck around them at the start, then there's no way to bribe them. You'll have to kill them, every last one of them.

    This didn't start happening until I started Redux. Other stalkers barely bothered with corpses in Vanilla CoP, but now that's the complete opposite. Most bodies that weren't my kills were usually done in by mutants/animals, or were surrounded by other dead bodies.

    Then it's bugged. The first time i approached they DID appear as red on minimap but they didn't shoot at me.

    Latest build and all, weird.

    Also with my slow internet LURK takes eight hours to download, it was five minutes to finishing when chrome crashed. Tonight is Saturday so I can not pull a LURK all nighter tomorrow.

    I have Windows 7 with a GTS 450, why are the DX 10-11 features not working for me in clear sky? There's no wet surfaces, there's volumetric smoke, no nothing.

    DX10.1 option only works in Vista.

    Or you have to patch the game up. (1.5.06 or higher)

    If there was a mod for the DayZ mod you could basically HAVE an Online STALKER experience.

    Use the STALKER map (one already exists) add more zombies with different AI (Bloodsuckers and Snorks etc. already exist too in ArmA)

    50 players on a single server. Your equipment saves across servers. Add more items and a few artifacts and you're done. Factions could be made as well, since Freedom, Loners skin etc. also exist too. Most STALKER stuff has long ago been ported to ArmA.

    Yeah, a lot of people have been trying to recreate SoC's atmosphere in ARMA. Sometimes it works, sometimes it hilariously flops, such as the Namalsk Crisis Campaign AKA "can't see shit oh god twenty BTRs"

    So I downloaded the latest version of TFW, been playing as a loner. Few hours in I've made my way to Yantar, and someone tells me about a group of zombies sitting around at the back of the map with the fire anomaly and the psi field. I walk over there, easily headshotting two of the three with my sidearm due to zombies rarely giving a fuck in this game, and I walk up to the last one and

    I can talk to him.

    "How can I help you?"

    "Deliver items (9x18(x3))"

    "I brought what you asked f"

    and then he gunned me right the fuck down.

    I wonder if I would have had any way to get paid for that or if the game would crash, as you get paid by faction traders/leaders and, well, he was a zombie...
