    Is there a proper translation for the ShadowRMA addon? I think me adding that was what caused me to CTD on startup.

    Nope, no error message whatsoever. I go to the log, it's whining about ui_st_pda or something being missing from the eng text folder. I've noticed that the game spits out that error no matter what file is missing from the text folder or whatever file has an error in it. There is no ui_st_pda file in either eng or rus folders.

    Edited:

    I throw the rus text files into the eng folder (not overwriting the eng ones, but allowing it to fill in the ones that are present in the rus folder but not the eng folder) and that solved the problem. I suspect it's the shadowRMA addon's changes that require extra text files. I think I might just not use that addon in a mod merge, but some of it's features are so tempting.

    Weird, the torrent is fully seeded and I'm downloading at 500 kB/s right now (I know, slow, but that's the best my connection can do )

    LURK only adds weapons.
    AMK adds gameplay, go for AMK and get the LURK anims for the weapons (anims and models from LURK are really really good) and/or Complete 2009 Graphics for AMK if you like. You can even get the Shaders Max by Kingo they work for any mod.

    'sup, loners and zombies! I finally managed to end this miserably miserable misery called MISERY. It's probably the most crash-prone mod, making my quicksaves crash 75% of the time when starting up the game after another crash. However, now that I've finished it, I have to admit that it really does have it's benefits. Join me as I take you through my last week in . . . The    twilight    Zone.

    Here I am in Zaton. Did a nice round-up of the area, visiting each anomaly and cleaning it off of any artefacts. Boiler had a few and the dredge station always has one gravitational artefact. Others seemed quite random, but I got a decent haul. These will let me get a couple of important upgrades.


    Oh dear, I almost got killed by a poltergeist because of that landscape. Couldn't take my eyes off of it. The anomaly field didn't really have anything spectacular to hide, but I felt satisfied visiting it nonetheless.


    fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckemission- Oh wait, I'm marked. Let's enjoy the show. After all, I'm Degty, I can drink a cup of coffee in a radiation storm, no problem.


    I hope the chimera dies down there. It tried to leap at me from the edges, but accidentally hit the handrail and fell down into the acid. I don't feel sorry for it.


    Here in Pripyat, I had to go Splinter Cell mode on the Monolith forces lying in ambush in the building. I sneaked my way to the generator, took a few artefacts from the roof and jumped into X8.
    Sadly, the visit was brief and there were no adventures or records. I was too busy hunting down the damned Poltergeist since I can never remember where was the staircase leading to it's attic.


    After Garik informed me about the meeting between the informant and mercenaries, I decided to take act. With the escort of a foot-soldier, I use my recently-acquired Gauss cannon to dispose of the informant and mercenary leader. I got a little too happy with the success and took down some of their underlings as well. Their loot proved decent enough to make up for the sparse ammo.


    My Recon skills at sneaking turned out to be handy for the second time when I assaulted the riverside building occupied by fanatics. Without them ever catching onto my location, I bolted all across the yard and buildings, eliminating them effortlessly with a silenced Colt 1911. I was thinking of getting a Stechkin APS to cover this infidel american weapon, but Hawaiian decided to sell it to someone else. I suppose next I'll try to get a Makarov.


    Reinforcements arrived from the theater. I took refuge in the tower where I made my stand against the wave of fanatics. The Gauss cannon proved quite useful here, easily disposing of these brainless goons with my superior 400x scope and artefact-powered technology.


    And so ends my main quest line. I retired in Zaton to become a bodyguard and a guide, serving stalkers some additional protection for an artefact or two every week. Here is the sunset, as beautiful as it ever will be in the ever-changing Zone.

    At that stage in SGM, i'm usually better armed and armoured than even the most modern tank, so the only problem they caused was for my graphics card

    Getting out of Pripyat alive after choosing freeplay was probably the most fun I've had in SGM. You're forced to face off against Monolith and dozens of zombies, with a silenced Pb pistol and an mp5 machine gun. You really gotta be careful at that point, or else you might end up trapped in a corner with dozens of zombies coming for you

    I removed the already-placed mines at the beginning of the game, they are nothing more than an annoyance. In my opinion they serve very little gameplay purpose other than to irritate the player. Anomalies are different because
    1: they're visible and audible
    2: you can get artifacts out of them, which gives them purpose other than blocking passage. It turns anomaly fields into less of "oh bollocks, guess I can't walk through there", into a gamble, or a calculated taking of risk in order to potentially get a great payoff.

    The SGM placed ones i'm not so sure of. I've never seen them give out artifacts, and they seem to be placed for the same purpose as the mines i.e. to irritate. If I can be bothered, i'll have a look later at the files, see if they do.

    Only 1 artifact I do possess,Crystal, this magnificent metal. White with brown filling, keeping the radiation away, my talisman. Indeed, more artifacts can't hurt as they are in high demand from both, the stalkers and the scientists. Where the hell is that map? Under Sergei's Makarov, foiled accurately, as his owner was precise. Damn, sorry brother for I couldn't pull you from those anomalies. The anger is filling me, induced by Zone's well known, murderous practices. Fuck it, I shall take the both, the gun I will carry for honoring Sergei's memory. Nicely fits into pocket.How convenient. OK, I'm under Agroprom and the scientists are at Yantar, they usually order some artifacts, so I might get something for them. This is one short route.

    I installed SGM2.0 and cannot seem to get past the first loading screen when i start a new game. Any help? I installed the mod with that af3 patch and zaton start that came with it in case anyone is wondering.
