[Sgt Doom]

Paid 50k to Snitch for some juicy info. He said something about a teleport in the "back garden of the Bar where nobody pokes their nose" that allows for him to talk to unsavoury characters.
I searched the ENTIRE FUCKING MAP, even outside the normal playable area, only to find out the teleport is
1: not in a back garden by any stretch of the imagination
2: outside the map (albeit in a easy to get to place)
3: just leads back to the Barman's fucking back room

Needless to say, I RPGed the Bar and loaded a new save.

I guess it's useful for people who've pissed off Duty and want to get in without fuss, but fuck that. I love siding with Duty merely because they're the ones with the really big Warsaw Pact weapons (PKM and such)

If it's as silent as I think it is, it's really going to come in handy for stalker assassination missions; no longer will I have to resort to dropping fuel bomb canisters next to them and shooting those.

It really is, unless you're shooting right next to a stalker's friend they'll just be freaked out. I remember eliminating Freedom reinforcement snipers with that crossbow. The soldiers on the ground weren't even alerted.

The ammo is relatively cheap and efficient, killing just about anything in one headshot.

My other option was to place landmines on their likely paths, but that requires that they actually walk over them.

I'm rather annoyed that OGSE still has the vanilla Duty clairvoyance of murders in their territory. Kill a stalker silently when nobody is looking, and the whole base is instantly on alert :/
Means the only way I can kill that "GET OUT OF HERE STALKER" guy is with a gas canister.

I don't know where Nimble's crossbow is, but the Duty base's "outsiders may not enter" guy has a quest for a crossbow too. You get the money and the crossbow for yourself once you get it from Freedom.

Its better than the military base in Agroprom, which sounds the alarm and goes on full alert even if nobody has seen you. Fuck. I thought this part was bad in the Soup, but even with a 5.45 Groza, I'm getting my ass consistently kicked. Doesn't help that I don't have any grenades or sidearm ammo, either...

You got a Groza?
Get to the military trader, he's neutral to you. He sells VOG-25 grenades which you can use to one-hit-kill the PKM turrets. After that, the rest is easy as piss.

Just remember that Horror Time is a bad time to be doing that mission. As soon as I got out of the catacombs, Psi-storm hit.

That was the worst mission ever.

I can't help but feel that the turrets are there to force you sneak in the base like you're supposed to. Doing what I do aka blow them the fuck up is probably not what the mod makers intended

Just played OGSE - not sure what to think of it yet, it seems a bit interesting but the weapons could use some polish (I hope they just ninja all the LURK weapons and the animations because I reckon that would be the best thing to do).

Now I'm DLing TFW 3.7 to see what that's like.

Yeah, the weapons are my biggest complaint. Really ugly models and animations.

Do anybody have any extra ideas for the 200 5.45 bullet challenge? It seems kinda lacking.
All I have right now is:
Only allowed to shoot 200 5.45mm bullets
Only allowed to use 4 grenades
