How do you modify stalkers so that they don't have an invisible field around them in Clear Sky? Gets really annoying when in bases in TFW.

To get into the freedom armory, without doing that nerdy config shit, just push one of them barrels up the steps and right next to him. Takes a while, but oh so worth it. The crossbow is the shit.
I guess you could also use one of those fuel bombs that you can find in two of the stashes in cordon. But with OGSE being as hard as it is, no way in hell am I going back through garbage into cordon only to be burdened with 5 kilos of uselessness.

Get to 80 spares with each mechanic before you start upgrading, it knocks down the upgrade price considerably.
Always loot corpses, on two occasions I've found bandits carrying 20,000 RU artifacts.
Use the bank account, 7% interest per day is incredibly useful and will offset the high cost of everything in SGM.
Once you get their tactics upgrades, shotguns, particularly the Protectra and the Eliminator, will brutally murder even exoskeleton-wearing stalkers.

Got the crossbow, ended up chucking a grenade under the staircase in Freedom HQ, shrapnel bounced off the walls and killed the guy so i didn't get the penalty for attacking Freedom. It's okay, i wish the scope would zoom in more. I'm loving the AK-47 "Dream" that the military guys drop in Agroprom, it's really good but hard to find ammo for it that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for. Currently using an M16 though, trying to get rid of my 900+ rounds of NATO. I HATE mercs, though. Insta-kill aimbot snipers, erryday. Even in an Exo.

August 12, 2012. The intelligence I have thus far gathered seems to indicate that I must find a way to Pripyat to get in contact with the Stingray survivors. The local guide that took me to Yanov Station tells me that Jupiter Factory that resides a little ways North of Yanov might contain a tunnel to Pripyat. Today at first light, I will be heading to the factory and find out if there is truth to this claim.
I packed along only the essentials to travel lightly. The local stalkers say that they do not dare to venture close to the Jupiter Factory because local legends say it is "haunted". While a normal person would shrug it off as old wives' tales, experience has shown that it's okay to trust the "gut feeling" of experienced stalkers.
The morning mist is so thick I can't see more than a few meters ahead.
Due to low visibility conditions the trek to the Plant took longer than expected. Thankfully as I arrive, the fog has cleared and I can see the autumn sun illuminating the bleak structures that to this day continue defying forces of nature.
The area shows no sign of stalkers having settled here.
I head into the plant.
I scout around the premises for a while before I find the actual entrance to the Administrative building
Inside I found documents pointing me to a laboratory section of the plant
The laboratory note sends me to the Delivery...
Having searched this side of the Plant I move forward to check the other side of the facility
From the documents found inside the main factory, I discover that there indeed is an underpass to Pripyat but it has been filled with poisonous gas.
Coming back to Yanov, I hand over the documents to Nitro and hope he can do something useful with them.
Yeah... At least in M.S.O / PGR / Swartz mod there are at least some Monolith troopers to make the Plant at least somewhat interesting.
Also, I hope that in Redux 2.0 there's something a bit more interesting there or maybe stalkers and mercs take an interest to it after the player has done the plot-related things there....
OGSE is pretty weird at times, just did Yantar.
Once I had gotten out of the lab, shit went crazy.
The Jupiter plant always felt underwhelming to me. Just a couple of dogs and an annoying circuit to run trying to remember the right way inside.
Can someone link me to OGSE? Is there anything special I need to download or just the stuff from the moddb?

What the above said. OGSE is a fairly stable and decently-translated mod; iirc the OGSE team has a dedicated translator, and they always release a full English version just after the Russian.
OGSE is pretty stable, I've only had 1 crash so far.
My companion appeared out of nowhere in the Dark Valley. When I recruited him he initially had one of those rookie jackets, but when he ran up he was in a Freedom suit and using an auto-shotgun.
