The fact that we know what SCSI inherently means we are not sexy

At least, this sort of dirty talk would not get us any further than we already are

I don't know how they get from one to the other

I can understand pronouncing SATA as either "sah-tuh" or "say-tuh" but "scuzzy" to "sexy"? Not feeling it.

I find myself looking at harddrives multiple times per day looking for deals. I'd buy these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822145563 but it's 5400RPM. Running in RAID should give me 180Mb/s write, but the access times would suck.

My plan is to buy 4x >2TB drives. Put them in RAID10. Dump my current 500gb drive onto the Raid, buy another SSD for games. So it would be the RAID on my 4x Sata 3gbps ports, two SSD's on my intel SATA 6gbps, and then my CD and hot swap on the Marvel 6gbps.

I may end up getting four of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scrollFullInfo 92.25 dollars per TB on the Hitachi versus 89dollars per TB on the seagate. And the Seagate is faster.

    Edited:

According to StorageReviews, the Seagate hits 160mb/s write sustained, which is exactly what I need for video editing. That means in a RAID I'd hit maybe 280-300mb/s

Holy shit. That's like... WAIT HOLY SHIT
AMAZON HAS THEM FOR 209 WITH PRIME. I could get them tomorrow for like 840.

    Edited:

That's 70 bucks per Terabyte at 7200RPM. That's like the prices from middle of the year almost.

Bitfenix needs to get their online store working.

I don't like using their resellers. I ordered a bunch of blue Bitfenix Alchemy Cables about two weeks ago and only two of them have just shipped today.
