I beg to differ. Most people I know (highschool) talk terribly and have god awful grammar.
But yeah, I guess considering that they're a bunch of geeks that they would know, understand, and respect grammar and whatnot. I think Dirk and Roxy are just a bit more exposed to the world and the way 16 year old talk.
Also Roxy is 24/7 drunk.

Yes, PRETENDING that they're fighting. That is, slow (but not too slow) kicks and punches and probably a few sound effects coming out of their mouths there and here.

i dunno, even though age is a pretty concrete thing in homestuck, i pretty much just project my age and that of my peers onto the characters like in most things. though it helps that hussie's writing their dialogue pretty much like 18 year olds already.
