Let's get some Hessle Audio up in hurr.
Let's get some Hessle Audio up in hurr.
Not a big listener of dubstep, but I do like the dubstep-hardcore band Lightfighter
Very interesting blend of the two genres.
I seem to like the really intense stuff.
I can't wait for Burial's Kindred EP. The anticipation is killing me.
this is the worst
it doesn't even blend
very interesting as in very very terrible
Fart fest
I suppose it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy it.
These take me back
Edited:
Still one of the best tunes in my opinion, although I'm not much a fan of their other stuff.
Even KoRn did a better job at mixing metal and dupstep
I listen to Burial right now, although I earlier said that I find it boring.
Now, I find this very chill music.
This track is a fucking belter if you're into old-style more simplistic, mellow dub:
Takes me back to the days of Descending, by Benga, and that is no bad thing.
This is by the same artist, and also fucking class.
I fucking love Boxcutter.
Edited:
New Enigma Dubz tune out now. Chill as fuck.
Saw this and thought it was pretty cool. It's how I Know The Truth was made.
In case you haven't heard it:
Youtube quality doesn't do it justice.
That might have been a decent dubstep tune if he hadn't gone through all the bother of pressing it to vinyl then resampling it. It would sound better clean, but as it is it just sounds like a low quality radio rip.
I posted one of the tracks before but Coki's EP sounds evil
Edited:
Bit more chilled out this one:
As I said it sounds like shit on youtube. Download the 320kbps version and you'll hear.

It's a free song anyway don't worry about warez.
The only skrillex I like is Ruffneck and First of the Year. the rest is more or less all shit.
God I forgot how much I enjoy the old Caspa.
Edited:
I find that most of it is pretty good but very, very over-rated. Skrillex fans have this ability to place him on this ridiculous pedestal.
Edited:
Also some of my flatmates are very guilty of this

I'm a big fan of Scatta, but that might be because of how much I love foreign beggars IDK
why is the only thing ppl talk about skrillex? he is 1 artist and he's not that good! there are so much good artists in Dubstep genre.
here is lost from joker! the instrumental is so big!
This is the song that got me into dubstep a few years ago
Fuck yes foreign beggars for the sake of nostalgia:
Also Tincture is starting to look like a class producer
really digging this one
Also do believe I posted this in the old thread but here goes.
One of my friends made a pretty sweet song and wanted to make a music video, so me and some friends helped him out with acting (Im the fat dude with the goatee)
zed's dead... damn.
ok i like old rusko like cockney thug/hornz cru even though they are really loopy and low effort and i really like pantyraid except i don't like the whole HURR CRUNK thing and most of the shit samples
what
should i listEN
to
Edited:
also the glitch party of pantyraid is cool but not what im lookin for
These are some labels you should give a listen to: Tempa, Deep Medi, DMZ, Hyperdub, Dub Police, Hotflush.
If you go on the discogs page for each it has all their releases. Good place to start.
Been listening to this guy a lot lately:
I approve.
I'm on a big carribean music thing at the moment, since I'm not an authority on dubstep, can someone recommend me some of the 'dubbiest' dubstep around? I.E. Dubstep that has its roots firmly in jamaican dub and whatnot
That's like dancehall dubstep.
Dubhall?

And this.
Oh shit man, Kindred EP is out!

Oh man I'm skint at the moment
Oh and also Skrillex won 3 Grammys.
Don't really like his stuff personally but good for him I guess.
