i've seen a couple of interviews before this, and all in all, it's hard to hate him
lol:
also Oizo played his trax - swag.
I can't hate him because all in all he seems like an aight guy it's more his fanbase.
yeah. but to balance that, i feel like his haters - as despicable as that word is - reach equal levels of twattery.
I've never had a problem with him, it's his music and even worse his fans.
He seems like a pretty cool guy to hang out with
New Excision track.
As a fan of his album, I can safely say that that song is abysmal.

Also, what's with songs using high pitched alarm type noises instead of wobbles these days? Some examples:
Not bad songs, just an observation.
Because low end wobbles don't really work on laptop speakers...
I guess so. A much better way of doing it is to mix sub-bass with mid so decent speakers and shit ones can both play the song well to a degree.
I'm well aware about the engineering side of music, but I really don't think they use mid-rangey tones for that technical reason. I feel that they use it because it sounds good to them. Simple as that.
Obviously, I was just saying that's a better way than not using sub-bass at all.
I didn't listen to your examples lol.
I'm sure this has been posted and I'll post it again. Ellie Goulding has an amazing voice by the way.
Here's some eye-candy too.

I bought this the other day, quite surprised to see it in the shop. Goblin on the flip which is a banger but I prefer this tune
Phaeleh - Rise (feat Indi Kaur)
Edited:
Phaeleh is awesome
Cool video too.
big remix by my man Brownz
It's a free download!
Probably just something shared with drum and bass or something along those lines.
Glorious remix of one of my favourite bands!
And here goes for content:
and quite the subject for many dubstep remixes too
Edited:
I like them but the plethora of dubstep ones overshadow the remixes that aren't.
Hey guys, I've recently gotten into dubstep and I've been having some trouble finding stuff I really like.
Any ideas?
The track that got me really hooked was this
Well for starters that isn't dubstep. Try listening to lots of different styles such as Zomboy, Klaypex, Adventure Club, Rusko, Burial, Benga, Nero and see which style you like.
Hmmm, okay I'll have to spend a bit of time on youtube it seems. Everything with an electronic beat is considered dubstep these days so I kinda have no idea what it really is defined as to be honest.
It's debatable but it's usually a song at 140BPM with a 1/4 time beat (which means it's slow) with the wubs and the bubs.

For example:
if this counts
They are both electro house.
Lol.
Alright can someone recommend me some both melodic and heavy dubstep? Not skrillex-heavy ofc
Check out Blackmill, Bassnectar (does some DnB as well FYI) and Adventure Club remixes for melodic.
Maybe NiT GriT for heavy? Not really familiar with artist in this region.
Here's a melodic and heavy song for you to get you started:
I have a lot of tracks by Blackmill and Adventure Club remixes (Flight Facilities - Crave You and Foxes - Youth are the shit). Gotta check out Bassnectar.
Edited:
Good one, thanks (and I already love the original)
Got more like this?
You have no idea how much I asked the same question when I heard it the first time.
Just some random melodic dubstep ones, some resembling Afterglow, some may not:
Extremely chill songs:
note the "it's debatable" part
I'm not entirely sure if Pretty Lights qualifies as dubstep.
Well, see for yourself.
Nope. His only dubstep song is I Know The Truth.
Edited:
I do like his stuff though.
Some new blood for the thread:
I like this one
Yeah Nero are really good. I recommend their album "Welcome Reality", it's one of my favourites.
Was just thinking of posting that.
