Silencers are illegal unless permanently attached to the gun. Like a real silencer. For airsoft. It's stupid I know but barrel extensions/mock silencers are fine.

I knew a guy who brought a gun with a suppressor/barrel extension mounted. He removed it after test-firing the gun and said it was sending bbs all over the place.

Needless to say, I don't plan on getting one anytime soon.

Propably there was too much length between the end of the supressor+barrel extension and the actual inner barrel muzzle. The BB may just bounce inside of it and go bad.

In the US you have to watch out for silencers that can muffle some sound. People have gotten jail sentences for having airgun silencers that happened to work on a real gun. Most silencers will have a US version with no foam and no way to insert foam.

So ebay tore my auction down since they follow california gun laws which means nothing that can even fit an assault rifle or any part of one can't be sold. So i broke california law 21 times over. Anyway I have to sell them indivudual so I'm going to post them here on FP discounted for you guys. Anywhere else will be more.

Got to handle the S&T Tavor today. Not impressed. Plastic just feels cheap, texture seems over done. Some parts are made of that glossy plastic too. The whole gun is just too damn light, feels like an LPEG. The top optics rail and other components on the top are all made of plastic, and they wobble way too much. Seriously, that rail probably had 3-5mm of side to side wobble, making it horrible for mounting any optic and maintaining a zero.

Gearbox is definitely plastic/polymer. Upon pulling back the charging handle and locking the bolt back (yeah it works surprisingly) I could clearly see translucent plastic along with a red cylinder. I asked if they knew what version gearbox it was but they didn't know.

Didn't get a chance to test fire it, was sort of busy when I was there, didn't want to hassle them more than I had to.

Honestly, skip on this gun, even for a wall hanger it doesn't look that good.

Well, now I know that I need to check out my gas valve on my china snipe once a while (like, every 30 shots?). It consists of two parts screwed together, then the entire thing is screwed into the gun. Vibrations from shooting apparently made it unscrew, so the valve ended up in pieces, three of them (lower "body", that pipey thingy and tinyass spring) inside the gas reservior... Took ages to shake them out.
