But the useful materials spawn deep underground. If you start on top of the mountain, all you are doing is pretty much doubling the amount of digging you will need to do to find for example diamond.

They're not really minifigs, more like blocks. The creeper's head is a green 1x1 block with a face on it. If thats the only set then I'm thoroughly disappointed.

why not just use normal lego blocks i bet it comes out to be cheaper even if u match the colours and everything and itll be bigger too

You're totally right, but the doubled amount of digging gives me a nice ability to make a proper underground base. Also I have never found so much coal before, those mountains are filled with it like holy shit.

Yea I don't know why they made them the small peices, it would be a lot better if they were the normal sized blocks not the 1x1s. You would be able to do a lot with the bigger ones also.
Also its super annoyin playing with just 1x1s. who wants to make a whole world, with just those.

are you on 64 bit? this can happen if you aren't using 64 bit java, downloading it can fix it. you might also want to allocate more memory to minecraft through either mcpatcher or commandline or I think optifine

I use cobble a lot so I never have that problem.

I tried equivalent exchange once. I got rid of it because it made things too easy, especially when combined with RedPower using cobble generators with Block Breakers.
"Oh no I'm out of iron/gold/diamond/obsidian, better maggick some more..."
Got pretty boring pretty quick.
