wow. I ordered some parts for my truck almost a month ago, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge and some other odds and ends. I never got any response and last weekend I sent the company an email saying I hadn't heard shit back from them and either wanted my parts or my money back. Well, today I got an email saying my parts have shipped. Expecting them by next weekend.
meh, it just seems silly, you want to buy a bunch of parts while the ae86 is a true do it yourself car.
You'd have to bring a battery with you and see if it starts, or talk him down on price a bit. Assuming you're the least bit serious, anyways. You can't let rotaries sit without at least starting them once in a while and going around the block. If you do you need to completely drain everything and fill the engine with some sort of liquid to keep everything lubricated and then seal it a special way, idk. You'd have to look it up, but basically the seals need to be lubricated; if not the engine won't last long.
I didn't mean to hit disagree, i just wanted to see who rated you. If anything i could just replace the seals. I can't really get rid of my pc, it's just a desire.
You can re-rate brah.
So it's settled Im going to try and turbo my 1.8L 8V scirocco. I saw someone get about 250HP out of their engine.
Just for clarification, by new engine i didn't mean NEW engine, i simply meant that it'd need a rebuild. So yeah, replacing the seals.
Works hard to develop kit for a t50-w58 transmission kit
Remembers that there was a kit for the similar is200Wikipedia posted:
An option to think about.
if only I could find out what they mean by 6-speed is200 transmission (They act as if theres only one)
found out its a j-160 transmission
Looks like I've got that base covered now.
since you're planning your car, plan to put a huge swastika on the hood
I agree, that's bullshit. I definitely would have given him a good talking to. Don't want to sound like one of them internet badasses but really, I would have been pissed enough after having gotten a flat, only to get fired right when i walk in the door? Hah...Can't be held accountable for what I'd do
hey my tire exploded on my way to work too once! called my boss but he was drunk anyway and didnt care
but in other news, just got told i can look at cars in the $20,000 range because my parents want me to have a real new car. fire nug
this just means i can buy a nicer mustang
oh and now im in camaro territory!
Woo, got my new insurance contract, cheaper than I expected. I'm now down to 303$ a year, or 25$ a month.
Ayo nucypoo you goin for a manlyual transmission yah?
Went to another VW/euro meet
The first picture, he wants to go lower. I think he mentioned chopping bits out of his frame.
the VW is bagged though, the second picture is on coilovers and is static.
Was bored today and decided to do this.
glove box holding gloves, legendary
holy fuck your car is loud as fuck
loud as in lots of tyre/wind noise coming in?
Anyone have any thoughts on this situation (Since I know you all are pros)
During Minnesota's heat, 94 degrees, my CVPI threw a CEL. Once that thing came on, the transmission had troubles changing gears, and the OD had troubles disengaging. Once the sun went down, and cooled off.. the transmission went back to normal, but the CEL stayed on. Could this be because of the heat messing with something? or did the transmission take a poop on me.
>he wants to go lower.
What kind of moron lowers a perfectly fine VW golf until you can't go over the slightest bump without the seat getting shoved up your ass?
