wow. I ordered some parts for my truck almost a month ago, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge and some other odds and ends. I never got any response and last weekend I sent the company an email saying I hadn't heard shit back from them and either wanted my parts or my money back. Well, today I got an email saying my parts have shipped. Expecting them by next weekend.

Don't. If it's been sitting for a couple years and has never been started, it's gonna need a new engine, guaranteed. It may run for a couple months but it won't last long. Dem seals man. Everyone goes the cheap route instead of getting the upgraded, more expensive FD seals that actually LAST.
You'd have to bring a battery with you and see if it starts, or talk him down on price a bit. Assuming you're the least bit serious, anyways. You can't let rotaries sit without at least starting them once in a while and going around the block. If you do you need to completely drain everything and fill the engine with some sort of liquid to keep everything lubricated and then seal it a special way, idk. You'd have to look it up, but basically the seals need to be lubricated; if not the engine won't last long.

I didn't mean to hit disagree, i just wanted to see who rated you. If anything i could just replace the seals. I can't really get rid of my pc, it's just a desire.

So it's settled Im going to try and turbo my 1.8L 8V scirocco. I saw someone get about 250HP out of their engine.

Just for clarification, by new engine i didn't mean NEW engine, i simply meant that it'd need a rebuild. So yeah, replacing the seals.

Anyone have any thoughts on this situation (Since I know you all are pros)
During Minnesota's heat, 94 degrees, my CVPI threw a CEL. Once that thing came on, the transmission had troubles changing gears, and the OD had troubles disengaging. Once the sun went down, and cooled off.. the transmission went back to normal, but the CEL stayed on. Could this be because of the heat messing with something? or did the transmission take a poop on me.
