Wait, so they're letting players get an instant boost to level 80 with ilvl 232 gear?
Part of the reason why you level is to learn how to play your class, i expect to see a lot of inexperienced 80 players now.

US, you don't have to be on the same realm as me do you? I recall my realID never working despite sending in tickets pleading for help so I don't know how this would work.

Had an irl friend send me a SoR.
I had 2 characters that I leveled, my lvl 76 DK main, and my lvl 44 rouge. I mained my DK, the rouge I used when I first started playing. I never really used him that much.
Using the auto-80 on the DK when he was only 4 levels away from 80 would be a waste, so I chose to upgrade my rouge.
Not half bad, actually. You get tons of free shit (the pre-chosen specs are SHIT. respec when you get the chance.), and all your old stuff is mailed to you.
Not to mention my friend is a real bro and runs me through shit/gives me advice/gives me free stuff/tells me raid mechanics/helps me with class mechanics on a regular basis. The instant 80 is more geared for people who understand the class but just let WoW sit on the shelf for a bit.

You get a week and a whole lot of shit for your character for free.
If you choose to buy time at any point after said week then I get a fancy shmancy ghost mount.
Then everyone is happy.

What do you get in terms of riding and secondary professions and gold on a boosted char?

So, the character move/faction change, does it allow you to go anywhere or just to the person who invited you's realm?

Doesn't allow you to transfer anywhere but just make a post here and it's only avaliable for the boosted char.
But you can make a char on any server and then boost it.

The transfer is to where you sent the invite from, my mage on stormrage alliance for example - you get full first aid, 75g and 280% riding

What if you don't use the in-game function for it? How does it know which realm you sent it from if you are doing it from your root account?
