no
no I wasn't
I'm guessing he has a dynamic ip
Why is it that when I login to another account the text box changes?
Is there a way to change the text box's look or something?
ahah, those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

shush you
With the [code] thing. Is there a reason that the tab has been removed and replaced with lots of spaces? It makes lining things up much harder.
Wasn't able to go on the forum yesterday so I'm late to the imgur discussion. It feels like I'm the only one who uses ImageShack. Is there something I'm missing out on that other image hosts do better?
Unless they changed their scheme since it went down the shitter, good image hosts don't charge to host animated gifs, nor a maximum amount to upload
(nor a max filesize of I think .5 mb, nor a max image size of I think 100x100)

Oh hey, I logged on to imageshack after all these years to check if my claims were still true (and see if it still had all of my images backed up), and after logging in and seeing "UPGRADE TO PREMIUM", I navigate to my images, and I see "ce you're over the 500 photo limit you'll need to upgrade to a Premium account or you'll only be able to keep 500 of your recent photos. Older photos will expire on the 1st of May."

Look at those awesome paid benefits, like an additional .99% uptime of images!
Also, this is priceless

Heh, imageshack was always bad. Looks like they decided to make it even worse.
I've never seen a cached version of either facepunch or garrysmod.org in all the times they've been down. Maybe it's somethign with the way garry has them set up?
it says undetected by VAC, and the new system isn't VAC, so seth is still right.
Just testing something, *please* don't hurt me. I'll edit this post if it works.
Edit: shit it works. If you enter imgur's IP address instead of the URL the images still embed.
niggaupload is frankly much better than imgur, don't mind it's name.
test:
niggaupload.com
If you replace the imgur domain in the address with imgproxy.charlie.bz, they'll show up.
Please don't use this for new posts, but if you need to fix an old post then go for it
Even better is, it doesn't stop you getting the URL. Just view the page source, or inspect the element to get the URL.
I didn't know Imageshack had all that bullshit but I don't use them because their site's just a general clusterfuck
How do some obvious alts stay unbanned? I've always wondered how even when half the forum knows they're on an alt, they don't get banned. Are there exceptions?
Good behavior.
The width of tabs depends on the text editor, so you will always have trouble lining things up.
I'm sure alts are only banned if their main account was permabanned for bad behavior.
Stopping doing whatever you got banned for helps.
Why can I still see this in both chrome and firefox after clearing my cache in both (ctrl/shift+f5)?
Not that I oppose it.

Oh nevermind, you just blocked i.imgur, which never even worked in the first place.
How about you guys put a steam link example in the profile settings? I'm sick of seeing broken Steam profile links everywhere because people don't know they have to put their fucking url id or profile id.
What ever happened to FileSmelt? Wasn't that made by someone here?
it was a terrible exploited service and the owner had no idea how to cache images and it forced a download, etc.
Why did I just google that out of curiosity.
Wow niggaupload is pretty good, they actually let me upload my 20 MB picture of Gabe.
Imgur had a 10 MB limit.
It uploads like anything, though
And it's still working for me. What's changed?
FileSmelt has no image upload limit, it's insane.
You could hotlink a 30mb image.
I'll just leave this here.
http://filmot.com/
Only bad thing about FileSmelt is that it deletes images after a certain amount of days.
It also doesn't like to load images. Anything bigger than an 800x600 image takes multiple tries for me to load most of the time. It feeds me some bullshit "couldn't load the image due to errors" error most of the time. I've seen the damned thing nearly fully load an image before doing that too. Filesmelt is the only site that has ever done it to me.
The problem is that it's a temporary file hosting site, not an image hosting site.
yeah seriously, use filesmelt for 1-time quick uploads to show a picture to a friend or something
no registration crap, uploads in milliseconds, puts the url right there infront of your face
niggaupload is the best new host
Something like Dropbox would be better for that overall. After you first set it up, then it's quick and easy.
niggaupload has really good upload speeds, too.
Imagine the MegaUpload song replaced with NiggaUpload
"Upload to me today, send me a file. Niggaupload, Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigga,"
