    admins better have a good excuse, this layout is god awful. I have to scroll like a madman to get to different sections and I can barely tell whether a thread has new posts or not because the little notification thing is tiny.

    ChromeBros, go here chrome://chrome/history/ and click "Clear all browsing data" and check the box "Empty the Cache" and go
    it's easier to just do [ctrl]+[shift]+[del]

    and yes, generally when the layout is broken all you need to do is clear your cache.

    I think AdBlock lets you hide specific elements on a page, you could try blocking <table id="cat392">.

    Wouldn't overload the servers.
    Facepunch has pretty beefy servers as it is to deal with such a large forum.
    Not on Reddit's level, but still ought to be able to cope with an influx.

    I think Garry's just been fucking with the .htaccess or whatever equivalent this software uses.

    It explains why the subforum URLs are different, the 403, and can cause the cache issues.
