alright so i'm not sure where to ask this but whatever. I just bought episode 1 today and alyx doesn't follow me. She just stands there screaming where are you or come back. Also my flashlight doesn't work in this game and it didn't work in half life 2 either.
Really, that includes Portal 2 and few more games. It's more of a VALVE tribute.

Ships don't have concrete pillars in them.
The model replacements are horrendous, but the textures themselves are mostly nice.
Another problem is the file size, his textures are 3 times the size they should be.
Also too much much clutter on his modded maps.

edit: also we are close to 14th anniversary of half-life.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the models used since HL2 got a make over, some of them look bad next to models from Valve games from the last 5 years.

that would be cool. However I don't realy think valve could possibly fuck up Half life's cover though so im content with whatever we get.
But id quite like to get the Old source main menu. The minimalistic one that we had for every Source game Pre l4d. Moving backrounds are fine but i don't like all this extra art and text animations and the like that we've had for L4d2 or portal 2.
The Cover - So usually by now I would have uploaded the cover of the next issue. As it stands, the next issue's cover must remain a secret. It is part of a worldwide reveal that cannot be spoken about or shown until 4pm on the 14th of August. I have fought hard and have been unable to get any leeway on this and, as a result, the next issue will be going out a day later than usual. The good news, hopefully, will be the reveal itself. I apologise in advance for the frustration this delay may create and rest assured I am in discussions now with the publisher in question about how they are going to make it up to our subscribers.
