    It's chaotic music.
Totally depends on the hardcore part on what you mean. Atmospheric hardcore is kinda strange to me. Yes I have listened to Rosetta but I'd just call them Post Metal.

The more I listen to post-metal the more I think each band is better described using what genres they're influenced by.

If I'm talking to people who know music, I'd rather use a descriptive term rather than a simple term for people who don't know music.

Well that's fair enough mate, and I appreciate your view on it too. All bands are too same too different these days, and especially with metal and it's bullshit sub genres its hard to pinpoint a style in two words.

    Flying Lotus (Instrumental hip hop)
Pianos Become The Teeth (screamo, and i already am listening to these so last.fm is gay)

Twin Sister (Based on the similar artists I assume they have that fuzzy, ambient sound like Washed Out and Beach House)
Neutral Milk Hotel (lol no thanks)
Grizzly Bear (Seems like indie folk, always up for more of that)
Common (Might check him out, heard he's kinda like Drake although I don't really like Drake)
Cymbals Eat Guitars (Never heard of them but they seem like a shoegaze/punk mix like WU LYF, could be interesting)
