I like how new my interior looks still after 117k. I can't really provide any clear pictures, as this lens is the ONLY lens i have to use. I got the camera for $100 from a friend (which is an EXTREMELY good deal,) and she just let me borrow this. That's why i was getting annoyed when people were telling me the pictures would look better without it. Without it, there wouldn't be any pictures at all. There is no way to get more in focus than what i'm getting, with this lens. I still take pictures and submit them, because i enjoy it. I was getting irritated the other day when my pictures that are taken with a $400-$600 camera with a $200 lens were being compared to instagram, which i have never used in my entire life.

Also, my car is 100% stock, so having it called a ricer is just plain incorrect; not to mention frustrating.

He's probably using a tilt/shift lens, makes what is around the main subject blurred.. (If being tilted, shifting has a different effect) Having one of those lenses is a bit of a boon, because they are quite expensive (if of quality) and they can provide interesting shots.. However, not for an interior shot. (I understand that's the only lens you have, that's not where I was going with this)

This was my point. All i was really trying to say is, that lens is the only way i can take pictures, and it's not really meant for general photos of things. But i still like taking pictures until i get my 50mm(which has been planned since i got the camera), so they are going to look like that.

Make sure your camera has an AF motor, if it doesn't you're going to want an AF-S lens.
