How old are you?
Anyone have any thoughts on Epi. Thunderbirds? Good stuff/bad stuff?
Anyone had any experiences with a MARSHALL VALVASTATE 8080.
I saw an add on gumtree for one with some LTD guitar going to have a look on tuesday evening its a while away so ive looked at reviews just not 100% sure.
From what I remember the later Death albums were recorded with an 8100. Those valvestates have got a cult following among some people. They sound pretty decent to me from what I've heard but I've never played one
Do you guys know of any fancy tabulature writing program thingie?
It's from Sloe Gin (~0:25) by Joe Bonamassa, is that how you would write the bends?
I just quit my lessons, I'm looking for new lessons, but the I felt the old lessons weren't helping me progress. It was basically a half hour walk to have a guy Google a song a I wanted to learn, open it in Guitar pro (Which I have on my PC) and then guide me through it for the last ten or so minutes of the lesson, although I could usually do them without help. Anyway, do you guys think I did the right thing?
Yeah that sounds immensely unhelpful. Anyone can read a tab and play it (after however long). Lessons to me should be teaching you WHY something works, WHY you're playing something where you are and how you are. That sort of thing. It's easy to learn guitar and be unmusical, and it's a trap I fell into which I'm still trying to scramble out of
Finally took my guitar to get set up at Heart of Texas music. It'll be done in one day! Ray Henning freaked when I told him I wanted .60 to .13. Not only that, but it's a $50 setup fee due to the bridge being yanked up so far, truss rod being fucked, frets needing fixed, electronics shorting.
Anyway got back not long ago from checking out that amp and guitar. Guy wanted £230 for them both I gave him £180.
Here is 2 pics.
Not to sure about the guitar but gathered I could sell it on for something.
Ill see how I get onto it compared to the low range ibanez I have.
Came with 2 spare valves
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck I just dropped a pick
RIP pick you served me well
I bet i have like 5 picks under my desk
I've lost my favorite pick several times and I always tell myself it'll eventually turn up and it always does (so far). I've found it hiding in a book once.
I have been using the same pick for roughly 2 years, how do you guys lose 'em so much?
I neither lose nor gain picks
they're just always there
at least that's how it's been ever since I got a six dozen bag
for the love of god help me
why is this piece of 'music' I've written 9 bars long when it's 32 beats
I kill a pick every couple of months, sometimes less.
Can only use these now. Excellent nylon picks
talking of picks, my girlfriend got me this as a valentine's present. I don't know if I should use it or not.
super shiny metal, looks awesome. I like my initials being on it too, but I dunno if I want to use it. I want to just use it decoratively
about to order a gross of guitar picks from deal extreme
thinking about swapping the pickups in my '103 but I'm not too sure about dropping up to $200 just to see what it'd sound like
I'm considering buying the Line 6 HD Pro
