I know that feel. I couldn't get into CWM on my HTC Magic (Home, Vol Down + Power) because of that. Think of it as a security feature so no one can tamper with recovery.

Well Sony has put those nice Exmor image sensors (good low light) in some of the Xperia phones and the Bravia Mobile Engine (which I don't use) and they have been using their camera tech in their phones. (SE)

yeah, the LPB radio with the latest cm9 build had a huge wakelock from the RILJ on my phone (at least, betterbatterystats says so)
