I got the controller working, I just don't know if the app will support the input or w/e.
Its a fucking woman
How the fuck do you think that's a dude
Man. I wish I had a fuck woman.
Yeah you can map buttons in the app, just remember to save the config afterwards.
FPSE runs like shit for some reason. I've got an over clocked Acer Iconia Tab A500, which is pretty good for what's out right now.
I'll have to poke around a bit. :/
My friend has the A100, and it runs at a solid 60fps for him. Are you using the BIOS? A simple google search will get you it.
Hey guys, how can it run a virtual server on my phone? Where whenever people connects to my wifi, they go through the virtual server which hosts a webpage with info, etc.?
What, and what.
Have fun with the 30 minute battery life even if you find out how can you do that.
I'd like to add that I have a wireless router which can host the virtual server and will redirect to my phone, where I can host a webpage detailing the information. The actual wifi is not hosted on my phone, btw.
The fuck are you on about.
So you want to host a webserver on your phone? You can try this but I doubt you're going to get anywhere.
and... WHY?
I think he wants a landing page, the page you first see when you connect to a WiFi hotspot.
You know, like in hotels and airports and shit.
Oh right
Yeah that would be one of the main uses that I was getting at.
Real purpose : I'm running a wireless router where people can join it (no password, or Internet) to play MineCraft on it in my neighborhood and i want a single landing pages where people would end up at with information and instructions. I have no one to play MineCraft with (lan).
Edited:
I mean, me making the webpage won't be any problem with it just want to find out and try doing this so people would know what to do and why I'm running this service. And how it will reside on my phone. Why and because I have no computer to use to host it.
Yeah I have the BIOS.
The game I'm trying to run is Metal Gear Solid, maybe that just doesn't run too well on the emulator?
Edited:
It loads the first two logos but then after the second one fades away it never completely fades and sits there forever.
Ape escape works, but it looks shitty. Shittier than I can remember at least.
And still kinda laggy wtf.
Is there a place I go to ask about rooting help? Is it here?
Use SuperOneClick
Far as I can tell, SOC doesn't support Evo's recent 2.3.5 update. I've been following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1473373
(my evo 4g is 2.3.5 / 4.67 updated and using HBoot 2.18)
I got through 27, and I'm trying to get s-off. In Step 32, though, it asks you to enter a bunch of commands. At the third part, command prompt gives me this:
and I can't get any further. :\Code:# cat \sdcard\flash_image > \data\flash_image cat \sdcard\flash_image > \data\flash_image cannot create dataflash_image: read-only file system
Just bought my first Android. I hope it's worth it, considering the amount FP goes on about it.
It is certainly worth it
Which device?
The Desire HD, I was able to get it pretty cheap so I went for it rather than the one that you guys suggested the other day. Most complaints are about the battery life as far as I can see, but I doubt I'll be using it that much after I play about with it for a bit (and the seller is giving 2 spare batteries so I got extra if I need it).
Man, bought my first android phone a few days ago after having an Iphone 3GS for a few years.
Galaxy Nexus, loving this thing so much more already.
Anybody else having problems with galaxy s2 getting hot as fuck when browsing with some programs in the background? I know it gets hot sometimes but I checked the temperature with some CPU program and it said it was 53c. Is it normal?
Which browser? I know Dolphin HD causes that for some reason.
Default android browser. I usually run the browser with spotify in the background/poweramp if the music isn't on spotify and it gets hot quick. It's rooted but I'm not on a custom ROM yet (Having some problems instaling them)
I have ICS on my Galaxy S now. It works pretty well except for some apps(GTA 3) and two bugs:
-No video recording
-When I turn it off and put it to charge it automatically turns on
Should I trade my Desire HD for the Galaxy S II for $4 more?
I may need to read the fine print but should be good.
Definitely a good idea.
Why on earth do you turn your phone off to charge? Just put it on silent if you're sleeping..
the desire hd WAS good, its actually quite shitty by today
but if you got it cheap its probably ok
Edited:
it just gets hot
Some of us here are Enviro-freaks and phantom power is that 10% of your power bill
what?
That's your TV and sound system, not your phone.
Is the Droid Bionic rootable yet? I read a while back that Motorola patched the exploit that was being used, Did they ever find a way around it?
