Once i get my Nexus 7 I'm quitting my job, should have enough money for next term by then.

Why quit your job, you could put that money to all kinds of stuff, plus the longer you work there, the better it looks on your cv/resume
What happen to scrollable wallpapers in ICS???
If I were to do this I'd have to get my S2 to be as stock as possible, including getting rid of that pesky yellow triangle during boot. I don't know how to do this.
Today was the first day using the Android Alarm program. I set the tone to "Snooze". I nearly shit my pants waking up holy shit
I just found out that there is a provider which has unlimited everything for 40$, but I am already signed for a no data, no caller id, limited calls 44$ contract for 3 years

Woa, the GO launcher guys made a backup application which has same features as Tbackup but free
How did I not know about that
Does anyone happen to have the sound file for the iPhone's default call tone (Marimba)? I don't want to shit bricks tomorrow morning.
They're still there.
Ditched my TF101, bought a TF300T
I fucking love it.
It's an agency job so the amount of time I work there is a non-issue, and at the beginning of August i'm going on holiday anyway. When I move back to Manchester finding a decent retail job will be nigh on impossible with or without experience.
Sooo, what are you planning to do with that TF101?
He's planning on giving it to Noss.
Is this only for the stock ICS ROM for SGS2? Or can it be for AOKP ICS as well?
Why not Ezhik? I heard he's a cool guy![]()
Should work on any ICS rom, but as it says in the description it's largely based off the kernel you're using. Check out the thread for more info.
Nah, gift it to garychencool! Unlike Ezhik, he hasn't changed two high end flagship phones in the last 6 months. Instead, all he has is a mediocre phone who would enjoy having something decent for once.
Don't think so.
What? My phone isn't mediocre?
no its not
its p decent

Alpha Jelly Bean rom for the SGS II
Sorry for asking this, but some of you guys have JB if I recall correctly - and does it have Flash at all?
oh man
for the past few days, my phone's only been using GPRS to connect to the internet; anyone else noticed this?
Ha! latest i9100 CM9 nightly finally fixed the signal indicator on the status bar <3
fix it in what way?
It no longer randomly jumps from 0 bars to 4 bars (max). Now it displays the correct signal level like Samsung ROMs. The signal strength itself was correct in Settings - About phone - Status, but the signal indicator wasn't displaying it correctly.
ah, I noticed that; the GPRS thing still annoys me though :(
Time some sales!
Office suite pro is 99 cents, until tomorrow
shadow gun and samurai vengeance is 99 cents
It seems fine for me. Mostly displays H, sometimes flickers to 3G and goes back to H. Maybe check your APN settings or the Advanced settings if the HSPA radio is turned on? Or if your provider doesn't have any issue.

SGSII advanced settings?
yes
So I was watching this video:
And it made me realize how surprisingly outdated my Evo 4g has gotten. I have cm7 on it, but there's STILL no ICS for my phone. I don't want to get 4.1 for one thing like voice searching (although it's impressive).
I have an upgrade coming in October (my birthday is in October, hmmm), and I'm wondering what the best bang for my buck would be, regarding the most powerful phone, most likely to be updated frequently, best quality, etc. One that doesn't suck, is powerful, is very likely to be supported with many future android versions.
Any suggestions?
right now, I'd say Galaxy S3, but there may be other phones showing up later
Try getting your APN settings from your provider, or check if your provider doesn't have issues.
