android what the fuck
Is there any way if modifying the smileys? I'd like to see the images using a different 'shortcut'. Cheers.
I would actually like to ask how the battery life on the Galaxy Nexus is?
All this talk of ICS for galaxy s phones is making me jelly, mine is on the list though. Sucks that tmobile takes their sweet ass time deploying updates.
Is there any difference between cm9 and AKOP?
There is but you're not going to find out.
CM9's goal is bringing AOSP ICS to as many devices as possible
AOKP's goal seems to mainly be an enhanced AOSP ICS ROM for devices that already have ICS (Galaxy Nexus, Xoom, etc)
So is Cyno a good first timer ROM? I'm getting tired of Gingerbread and have a Droid X2
So what are your favorite android news source?
I like Android Police and DroidGamers.
But everything else about the phone is too kickass for me to care too much, especially since a charger is normally not too far away. And if it isn't, I'm too busy to be using my phone anyway.
Looking to flash Codeworkx's CM9 on my GSII and deciding which way to pick, Nightly or Resurrection. Am I to assume Resurrection Edition is just a monthly updated and more stable version flashed via Odin instead of CWM?
Hah, changing your display density is a neat trick but it breaks so much shit
I feel like I'm using a tablet right now
this is both a good and bad thing
Its silly but kinda neat.
I'm thinking, is it worth it to change my rom? Currently on the old MIUI on my GSII, I have several roms to decide:
What I am looking for is a very themeable rom and one that will last long for battery life.
But yes, if you flash ressurection, you can use the CWM flashable nightly builds with no issue.
It finally happened. Now my music cannot fit on any of my portable devices.
Your songs average on 6MB. Maybe you can lower the bitrate/change codec?
How do I do that, though? I am using iTunes.
(yeah, yeah, iTunes sucks, whatever)
have you considered using google music?
i would go to either AKOP or CM9
oh wait, themeable
miui is good for that, but its not nearly as good looking or good as cm9/akop
remember that its my personal preference
You mean AKOP and CM9 isn't themeable?
If not, is it worth it to go CM7?
CM9 got the Theme Engine merged a few days ago, so it's theming capabilities are the same as CM7. No idea if AOKP has any special settings for themes etc.
So CM7 themes work on CM9?
only partially as there's a crapload of changes between Android 2.3 (CM7) and Android 4.0 (CM9). There's not many CM9 specific themes yet (and most are "color changes" anyway).
Aww damn, seems like I'll wait then.
Thanks alot iCole
