One day China will just flip a switch and every nation's technology will just stop working. Then they will just walk right in.

For all dutch Vodafone users that have ordered a Galaxy S III directly at Vodafone, they are expecting to ship out the first ones this week, but the majority of orders will arrive sometime next week.

I was hoping to get a new phone at some point, since I was due for an upgrade... Though my brother's Acer Liquid E was locking up multiple times per day, even after sending it in for repairs 3 times (Each time taking a month). Since he bought the phone full-price and didn't have a data plan, he couldn't get another smartphone at the reduced price... So I used my upgrade so he could get an iPhone 4.

Oh well, I guess I'm holding onto my Nexus S until I can buy another used phone off Kijiji/eBay.

Just got my 10 Mifare Ultralight NFC tags. 64 bytes. I need suggestions on what to do with them! I have an AT&T SII with CM9, so I have NFC. Which apps should I get to set everything up? I have a few plans, but want some more before I break into them.

It's fine, though it gets a little laggy when going in between applications. If I had to option to pay $50 for a Galaxy S II, I wouldn't hesitate upgrading.

Flash a compatible CWM kernel in Odin, go to recovery, do a factory data reset, flash MIUI that is compatible with your phone.

So, dick move by Samsung on their part.

The SGS2 MHL adapter (or any other MHL adapter for that matter) does not work for the SGS3. Only the one specifically released as SGS3 adapter (which also costs way more ofcourse) works.

MHL is a standard and there is no reason that the other adapters wouldn't work. Dick move.

    EDIT: Mah automerge :I

Launch party: A mess, it was scripted and people noticed it right away, reddit users suggested Samsung to fire their entire marketing department. people said it looked ugly, didn't have the high end specs they wanted, or didn't look like [insert idea here], it had this, but it didn't have that, etc, it's coming to Canada on June 20.

TL;DR: Mixed responses, people still like it in general, I want it. Some people on this thread are getting it soon too.

if you don't take into account the complete numbers, that is alphabetically/numerically correct; the android player is just incapable of recognising number made up of 2+ digits
