Why not buy a non-mediocre phone instead of a professional camera that you'll never be able to fully use?
Actually I will use the 60D fully, because this summer I'm going to film action shorts and work at weddings and events. I have done so in the past, just not with my own camera. I know how to use it to it's fullest extent already and having my own camera at the event/shoot/wedding makes things a whole lot easier.

Edit: How I'm watching Google I/O 2012 right now

How big is the risk associated with putting CM9 on a touchpad and doing a dual boot setup between android and webOS? I REALLY don't want to brick the touchpad.

What's that professional camera of yours?

Also, imgur compresses the image to a size of about 1MB

I'm trying to get Jellybean on my phone, but I'm having trouble rooting the phone..

When my phone is on, my computer displays "Android ADB Interface", but when I boot in fastboot, it just said "Android 1.0", and I can't install the SAMSUNG Android ADB Interface drivers...

I'm following this guide, any help would be appreciated.

Looking at the Nexus 7 at the moment, I might take the plunge and pre-order a 16GB model.

Nexus 7 tablets: Don't expect the full 16gb to be available. The 8GB version for example has only about 5,5GB of free space. Which is really REALLY low. I was hoping google would go around this and actually give you 8GB of space for YOUR stuff.

That's like saying that you've bought a prebuilt computer with a 250GB hard drive and you wonder why 30GB is missing? Operating system and other various required files.

Yeah, I'm the king of the slow phones. Although it's actually not too bad fresh after a factory reset, with only a few apps installed (it's meant for people who mostly make calls). But once you start installing more apps and using Link2SD, that's when it starts chugging.

However, you can plug a second drive in your computer. Or even third or so.. but since the tablet has no expandable storage I was hoping google would give the OS additional space. I mean 8GB already is kinda small, but lowering it to ~5.5? ugh.

you could always use a usb otg cable and a memory stick/hdd for when you need the extra space.

That's pretty much why they're only shipping the 16GB model to stores in the UK.

Don't, people who just come for the swag suck. They give away these things to developers so they can develop for them.

True, I even saw a double sided memory stick with a USB and microUSB made exactly for that purpose.. But still releasing something with 8GB storage in 2012 is weird, even if they want to lower the costs.

Yes they do it every year. Be aware that tickets are $900 also.

I had a quick play around with it, usually I find that typing on tablets sucks, but it's actually just the right size such that I can comfortably type with it with two hands in portrait mode which is nice.

I actually have a legit reason for actually going next year (and hopefully getting into the first Keynote) because two months later, I would be going through a Android Development course (it's a Comp Sci course) and I wouldn't have to buy another phone, which probably won't be a development phone/tablet like the Galaxy Nexus/7.

Plus, I can show it off and get extra marks and stuff.
