There are those Call of Duty clones called "Modern Combat" which are pretty nice, I got two of them free via Samsung Apps.

Right now, I've got these 2 installed, along with NFS: Hot Pursuit & Dead Space (both Samsung promos), Helidroid 3D (really nice free game), World of Goo, Osmos HD, Anomaly HD, EDGE (would also recommend that one even though it crashes if I press the back key), and, well, GTA III.

I hope to hell Google add proper web app functionality in once Chrome is out of beta.
webapps on iOS are really great, I just wish Android supported the same HTML meta tags to get a similar result.

I imagine there are plenty of web developers that would love that kind of functionality,
creating a separate APK for your android users with just a web-view inside sucks!

My concern with The One X is that the battery life will be shockingly bad.
The Huawei Ascend D quad XL looks to be better if the claims are correct, 2-3 days of normal usage is pretty decent, but it remains to be seen. I'll be keeping a look out for these 2 and the SGS3 to decide which to get as an upgrade from my vintage iPhone 3G.

Can someone explain what "Reboot Recovery" and "Reboot bootloader" would mean?

If I have it right, reboot bootloader, restarts it and goes to the bootloader (which I think is the screen where you press ____ buttons to get to on power up).. where the other would boot to CW recovery correct?

I've only unlocked my Galaxy Nexus but I'm just starting to get in to all this.

okay, so.. pretty much every SGS2 I've seen has some weird color banding (including mine). I heard this is actually Samsung's decision beacuse they use 16bit color depth to improve performance (well what the fuck?). But is there a fix for this?

I know supercurio worked (and still works on for some devices) on an app that's supposed to help you tune the display and possibly fix the banding, but it's not downloadable anywhere anymore.

It was also REALLY noticable when I was on CM9 (since there's a gradient everywhere in ICS), annoyed the hell out of me.
