What, who pays 17 dollars for an Android app? Especially when it's mostly for the looks.

i asked this and they called me stupid
aka they cant see people want to use a device that advertises itself as being customisable to do what you want, to well, do what you want
Just get the old apk, it used to do that but they disabled it on purpose.

    Edited:

How do I send something from my computer to my phone on the same wifi network? It's a pain in the ass to find that microUSB cable somewhere in my messy room, plug it in, get down to plug it in, and find the files to copy over, and it's slow. My card can get a write speed of 5MB/s but when I plug it into my computer, it's a hell lot slower (1-2MB/s) and often it dips down to like 100KB/s and takes forever to get the last few MB over. I think copying over my WiFi is faster? Either that or so I can actually use my phone at the same time.

BTW, no cloud syncing or anything. Just direct PC to phone file sending.

    Edited:

And it seems a hell lot easier too.
Set up a network shared folder on your PC, then access it via ES File Explorer.

So to celebrate the end of exams I want to get the prime, I saw that the new model is coming out soon should I get it or is it not worth it? I don't care much for the GPS so if that's the only fix I don't see why I should wait.

Much higher resolution, 1920x1200 vs 1280x800, so you can watch movies in Full HD, plus images and text in general will be much more crisp and clear

    Edited:

I'm finally getting my TF101 fixed which broke months ago as well, can't wait to get it back, especially now that Google Docs is good enough for Uni and I can put Google Chrome on it

they're both quad core. I'll just get the original, as long as I pretend that the other one doesn't have higher resolution i'll be happy with the best tablet on the market

ah, I just realised you were deciding between the current Prime and the newer model

in that case, I'd say wait for the newer one, though you can do as you wish

So I set up a share and used ES Explorer to access my music library. Easy, took me a probably a minute.

Problem is does an app exist that would let me access this and stream the music with functions like shuffle, replay etc?

PowerAMP or PlayerPro, those two players are actually useful and really good. Both $5 bucks and have a fully functional trial version for you to try out.

PowerAMP's equalizer does sound a whole lot better than PlayerPro's, although the latter features a much nicer GUI.

For PlayerPro, when you pump up the Bass or Treble, or anything on the equalizer, it sounds like everything else is turned down instead of what you want turned up.

I liked both GUIs and I end up interchanging what music players I use. The options are both on par.

Check out other themes, there are a few built-in with PowerAMP while you have to get them off the Market with PlayerPro.

WOW, a honest answer from HTC:

    [release]

"From the original Sense up to Sense 3.5 we added too many things. The original concept was that it had to be simple and it had to be easy to use and we had that philosophy, but over time it got cluttered. Even on the home screen we had four or five icons before consumers got a chance to add things themselves."[/release]

    [release]
"What we've done right now is a good mixture of keeping Sense and Google's Ice Cream Sandwich element in a good balance. We haven't tried to change everything here. We have kept a lot of the ICS element but still added the Sense favour on top of it."[/release]

    http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/4471...oo-complicated

Meanwhile, Motorola is still being evil.
