The gameplay scene was actually right after they crashed their car by these people, i think. I would use all my ammunition on them if it was me or them plus adrenaline makes you ruthless.

I wouldn't know, it's not my fault the whole masquerade had not context. At this point of videogaming one would just assume there'd be a freedom of choice when it comes to killing bunch of other people.

Seemed like there was quite a lot of ammo to go around. The one who played it just didn't bother to go over the corpse to grab what they had though.

..Obviously not an old fallout 1 and 2 player :P

Sure - but they rarely become ruthless. Since that would need to be relatively cold and calculating. An adrenaline rush is generally a survival rush.

Yea, what I'm trying to piece together is how much freedom does the player have exactly. I didnt see any sort of objective marker saying "Mess with the traffic lights to get this guy", so I'm wondering if there are multiple ways to do this.
I doubt it though considering how well done the scripted sequences are.

I love it how everyone who'd like certain game series to stay the same and contain the same gameplay elements are now referred to as "hardcore fans" and stealth gameplay is now "hardcore".

Mainly referring to Ubisoft's Splinter Cell wank.

To most people, stealth is sneaking around on your tippy toes or hiding in a cardboard box. The idea that stealth can also be moving fast and taking down everyone in a room/area before they have any idea what's happening(because there is no time to dick around in a box or monologue over your radio with some dude in a labcoat) hasn't occured to them.

i like stealth where you use it to sneak to an advantageous position or just to get as close to the enemy as possible before letting all hell break loose, just to get that slight advantage. feels more realistic and exciting than just sneaking past everyone
