That happened to me during the whole time I was working in a film rental. Top that with one shitty channel of shitty music that played few shitty "popular" songs on loop that was on 24/7 because of firm regulations.
All of the above were controlled by sentient machines in an undisclosed location hundreds of miles away.
I still can hum the whole melody of that one hit wonder Juanes song.
i'm so glad waitrose doesn't play music
today i learnt how much we lose to shop-lifting. it's hilarious. we have no security and we're in the middle of nowhere so there's really nothing to stop anyone robbing us. it's usually pretty intelligent people too (waitrose is the most middle-class supermarket going) so it's not some idiot putting vodka down his pants but a guy filling a trolley with hundreds and hundreds worth of organic legs of lamb and selling them down the pub
Recently got three new books from the Horus Heresy series and I started reading one of them; Tales of Heresy. It's a collection of shorter stories made by several writers.
Long story short, a few of the pages around 16-19/23 were all loose. I could pull them out and stuff.
Fucking irritating at first, but after going along, I just didn't notice those particular pages being slightly loose/sticking out of the book and I'm fine with those few pages being loose as long as no other pages are.
Has this EVER happened to anyone else?
i failed to get new order tickets this morning :(
Nathan Barnatt is awesome
first bystander effect
second people are too shy to say anything/don't really give a fuck
third people look out for the tracksuit wearing poor looking types rather than the guy dressed nice
co-op is usually the best place for thieves because everyone in those shops are too nice
co-ops in my area are like fucking fort knox
I actually read a funny finnish article a long time ago about all kinds of bullshit work offers that creative people get. The topic in question reminds me of it, a lot.
I finally finished Dear Esther without shitting my pants for once.
any idea when the remake will be out? it looks quite incredible
On the 14th
THAT SOON!?!!?? woohoo
Downloaded the Co-Op demo for Syndicate on the PS3.
God damn that is FUN! Can't wait to try it out on the PC, that was better than I expected!
There's a demo? Holy shit.
Yeeaah boy. We should totally play some.
think i stepped into the registered retards server on bf3
each team started with like 5000 tickets, everyone in the server was still a chevron rank. i have never played with stupider people. i took it as an opportunity to use the default recon rifle with iron sights and i still did okay, and that's after using the huey to roadkill enemy snipers
it was genuinely difficult to play against these people though because they were so unpredictable. it was like playing bf1942 five years after release when the only people left playing it are 12 year olds with shit computers so there is no control point capturing, just spawn camping
I'll come play w/ you if you want
I can play with you too.
Talking about BF3. I once was playing against CAMPAH THEAM, only snipers. It was fun to sneak to them and kill them with claymore mine.
And I hate the guys with general ranks. They are mostly 10 year old no-lifes or cheaters.
I have a life, nor am I a cheater nor am I 10.
I call bullshit on that last part.
Go sit in your sauna.
Already did yesterday. Was good.
My grandfather's coughing has gotten noticeably worst. I seriously starting to be panicky right now.
I made a thing.
what is that anyway
A Parallax LCD and Speaker on Arduino.
Lol fuck if I know.
the question is can it play smoke on the water?
might have to pick up my banjo tomorrow after listening to this album. i forgot how good these guys are
couldn't listen to them for ages though. made me weirdly sad. anyone else get that where you associate a certain album or artist or some songs with a certain time in your life? it's purely coincidence of timing but i can't help it
A lot of robot teams use Arduinos as a "brain." There used to be a subforum for embedded programming on FP, not sure about now though.
daysbefore what music do you like
"I LIKE BlACK SABBATH BECAUSE DEY ARE DA BEST METUHL"
Ohhhh shit here we go
I'm sitting this one out
Yes they are but believing one genre is the be all end all isn't.
who said anything about that lol
