Oh man, I tried to draw an apple that I had eaten.
I couldn't really work out how to draw the texture of the inside of the apple.

and this was the first version, before I added more contrast and fiddled with it some.

I was "in the zone," working on a master study for homework. I was sketching and erasing and paying so little attention to what I was doing, outside of what was on my paper, that I accidentally dropped my eraser into my bowl of chilli instead of my art box.

it is when you're sat down in a plane

modern day pilots have maps in a transparent plastic pocket on their thighs

    Edited:

although thinking about it now i should have put it on the right thigh because the left hand is usually used to control the throttle
I've never flown a jet or spaceship, but when I was in my little Cessna, I'd always balance my charts and checklists and whatnot on my right thigh. Myeft hand stayed on the yolk, and right hand was on the throttle/mixture, so my right right thigh was easier to see.

It was from earlier, I'm just a messy person! I'll put it in the dish washer now, though, I swear.

Originally it was round, if you ever saw the first version I posted a while back, but these are changes my friend wanted. And the client is always right, because ultimately it's for them, it's what they want.

That looks like a joke, really. Rising sun, wide open mouth and yet the trademarked lipstick those dolls have above and underneath it, and those goddamn shiny wide open eyes which for some reason have a line on the side from the previous version.

Did she really want it so overdone and "cute"?

It is sort of a joke, but yes, this is how she wants it. I am changing as per her specifications after each version and she's very very happy with it now. Just fiddling with the text positioning and stuff.

I never said anything about stereotyping.

I'm just reacting about how overdone it is. But if that is what the client wanted then that is what the client wanted. I just feel like he went from "good" to "What the fuck is this?!".

What part of "but if that is what the client wanted then that is what the client wanted" is hard to understand?

I'm not criticizing you or anything, I'm just baffled at the client's request.

I quickly sketched all of the Beggars from Skyrim after hearing Edda say "No one cares about us! No one! We could die and no one would ever know! They'd just throw our corpses in the canal."

I wrote their names but it might be a bit hard to read.

They're Angrenor Once-Honored, Edda, Brenuin, Degaine, Noster Eagle-Eye, Narfi, Silda the Unseen, and Snilf. I changed their appearances in some ways, like making some of their hair all messed up, just for aesthetic purposes.

I figured in drawing them all I could work on my differentiation of drawing faces a bit, while drawing something I found entertaining.

    Edited:

Also did that a while back as a quick sketch, I've been debating between posting it or not, and yes, her nose is supposed to be like that. She's supposed to be the current leader of a large branch of schools I made up.

So you can do digital art without a tablet.

Nice tools help but you shouldn't let them be the limiting factor of what you can do.
