That's what I usually do every morning, any tips for it though because it's usually back to it's natural state by night time. I'm not particularly fussed on using gel in it either.
I currently only use hairspray in it and I've even had a hair clip in to train it to stay to the right(Only when I'm at home ofcourse)
I have longish hair like you, I style mine though, idk if you do. Dry your hair with a hairdryer (if you don't already) when drying your hair, either comb or brush your hair to the side you want it to lie, preferably one which is more comfortable to you, my hair likes to lie to the left so I let it, and it looks better that way. Anyway, when completely dry keep brushing it over to the side, all of your hair as in put a brush to the side of your hair instead of brushing straight down, when you've done that if you want hair from the sides of your head coming out brush them out, hairspray it afterwards, it's not hard, you'll get the hang of it. ALWAYS dry your hair downwards or it'll stick out. Also, spend money on a decent haircut (I pay 30 for mine, it's quite expensive for where I live) and then it'll be easier to style and will suit you more.

Short sleeve buttondown shirts are always awful
At my Sixth Form it's all we can wear. We have to look "smart" which basically means shirt, tie, trousers and blazer/jumper, from September to July. Meanwhile the girls can wear pretty much whatever they want while we get sent home for wearing shorts even though it was boiling hot and SCHOOL IS FOR DWEEBS GOD

I feel like polos are very... temperamental. If they don't fit perfectly, they look like shit. If they DO fit, they can be pretty good, though.

How is Topman in terms of their fit? True to size? Slim? Should I size up/down, or just order my size? I've been thinking of getting some things from them but I don't have a store around here and have never tried on any of their clothes.

Topman's fits (jackets, coats, shirts) from the UK are slimmer than normal fits, if you're a medium, go with a large.

I found Europe in general had a slimmer fit when I was there, I had to size up in everything.

honestly they're more of a fashion statement now instead of actually being used to play sports.

does anyone at least like the nike foamposites? or the jordan 11 concords?
